Mumsnetters' comments: This innovative design has an inflatable seat, offering "greater height and comfort". Although it doesn't fold away particularly small it's "very lightweight" and the straps mean "it can easily hang on to the back of a pushchair" so it's "ideal for restaurants and holidays". Plus: "I have yet to come across a chair it doesn't attach to and because it's fabric it doesn't mark the chair". One user remarked: "we never get round to deflating the base, but it doesn't seem to matter, it still packs away very well". Overall: "a great value second highchair".

I borrowed one to try out with my daughter at around age 1. It was easy to fit to any chair, but if she leant sideways it seemed very unstable. It was reasonably convenient to take away but I didn't feel that convinced about the safety of it when she moved about.

Found this really useful for our son, but they have to be quite steady as the straps are low down at the waist and they can fall sideways, so not suitable for very small children. On the whole though useful, very light and easy to store. They also need to be tall enough, as even when fully inflated my 1yr old daughter is just about reaching the table, but still have to watch for head bashing.

We have used this now for two children and it is still going strong. The inflatable cushion is great for getting them up to the correct height at the table, but as it can deflate, it is practical for storage and transportation too. I have found my two children were very safe in it as the harness can be fastened quite tight. I wouldn't leave them unattended though, as it may be possible to lean over quite far and tip up. Overall a great buy for holidays and if you eat out a lot.

i find this inflateable high chair very usefull in the house when my main one is soaking wet from being cleaned! i haven't taken it out and about yet but am going on holiday soon and it's coming with me. It inflates to a good hight and my son is really comfy in it the only down point so far that i have found is that my son dosent reach the table yet when in it and so i end up feeding him as theres not a tray attached to it (not that you could get one on there with it being fabric!) it's easy to clean with just a wet cloth and if in any extra care then you can take the inflatable bit out and are able to soak the whole thing.
it is very compact and easy to store away small enough to take places as have been mentioned before

Very easily portable and seemed a hit with our daughter. Vigilance is required for younger ones though as could be easy for them to fall out.

I bought this after reading some of the reviews and would agree it was one of my best buys for our recent holiday. They say to be used from 12 months but our 8 month old is quite happy and confident seated in it, although I would never leave him unsupervised. Not the easiest to clean, but the portability and ease of use make up for that. Going to keep it in the car to use at Grannies so not jsut a holiday item.

One of our best ever buys! It's folds down quite small (fits under the pushchair) and attaches to virtually all chairs one way or another. It really relieves the panic when you walk into a very popular restaurant or coffee shop! If your child is very very wriggly then you'll need to keep a close eye on them, but in general I think its a brilliant purchase!

A self-inflating booster seat in the classic design of Winnie the Pooh. Excellent for days out or when you go around to visit friends and family. It folds up very small. It's very light weight, has foam for extra support. Suitable from 12 months. I love this product and would highly recommend it to other families out there.

One of the most useful items of baby 'stuff' I've bought. Lightweight and easy to carry around, quick to attach to most chairs. One downside is that it's not very easy to clean - machine washable cover would be helpful.

Plus points: Lightweight, small-ish.
Negatives: if the chair seat is round, the straps do not secure that well. A wriggly child could lean over too far and topple the chair.
I had one of these but sold it on eBay as I found it didn't really suit me - I actually wished I'd bought one of the plastic fold up ones which would have been great to take to friends' houses as they would also stand alone on the floor if there were not enough chairs. I know you need to be vigilant with any high chair but I did not always feel comfortable with this seat. In restaurants I would have rather borrowed a highchair or used the pushchair if no highchair was available.Read moreLessMumsnetter Housemum

One of our Best Buys. It goes everywhere with us. Can fit any chair with a back. Self inflates very quickly. Deflates just as quickly to become very small and is extremely light. If your child falls asleep in their high chair, vigilance is needed as this is not suitable for this.

Found it excellent when on holiday. You do have to be careful as my 14 month-old has now found that if she lurches sideways in it, Mum and Dad jump up very quickly. It says that it is wipe-clean, but it isn't really and probably could do with a good scrub if you're not going to be using it for a few days.

A great item! We bought two for my twins as we were fed up with going to places that only had 1 high chair. These have worked out perfectly - they are small enough when collapsed to fit easily into the bottom of our pushchair. The girls have been more than happy in them for eating - and they have kept them in place very well. I have even loaned them out to a very picky twin mum and she came back to use them again.
The straps fit round the back of the chair and the bottom of the chair and they stay in place extremely well, and because they have that cushion under their bots they are just the right height for a normal table.Read moreLess"Although a good idea in theory, we didn't find that…"

Although a good idea in theory, we didn't find that this product lived up to expectations. The seat never seemed to get fully inflated and so our daughter always sat tilted to one side. We also found it difficult to clean the fabric. The lap harness is not adequate for a one year old as they can topple forward so we used it with an additional harness. After 2 weeks on holiday we gave up using the seat and just used the harness we had bought to attach our daughter to a seat when we were out - simple but very effective!

Excellent portable highchair. Useful if you have friends around with small children requiring an extra booster. We tend to leave ours in the boot of the car as it's handy for visiting friends/family who dont' have a highchair or if you go to a lunch venue where no highchairs are available. It has now been used by 2 children and has managed to stay relatively clean. It is definitely not suitable for small babies as your child needs to be sitting confidently. We originally tried a solid plastic booster seat but did not find this as easy as older toddlers grow out of it very quickly.
