"Great indoors and out…"
25-Apr-2013
Used this cot all the time in the summer, the sunshade is excellent, so can be used outside as well as in.. When travelling, the sunshade gives blackout so good for getting to sleep, not waking too early. Think the sun shade is sold seperately though would completely recommend.

"Perfect for air travel…"
19-Aug-2012
I bought this based on its light weight- my family are in Ireland and I needed something handy to shove in my luggage that wouldn't cost a small ransom in baggage charges. My daughter (four months) loves it and sleeps really well in it. I like the mesh sides so she can see out, and me in, and found the insect net at the top especially useful when deluged with biting midges at night. We got savaged, babes was fine. It's easy to assemble and put down again. Would definitely recommend.

25-Jul-2012
We bought this after reading the positive reviews on here. I can highly recommend. Used on 2 trips for our 3 month old.
Pros: Lightweight and easily squeezed into our fairly small car with all the other baby stuff. Our son needs a hand on his tummy to fall asleep and easy to access him rather than leaning over a playpen type cot. Multipurpose for hot holidays as can be used on the beach with the sunshade (aboutRead moreLessMumsnetter SomethingChanged

"Very disappointed - would not recommend…"
24-Jul-2012
I bought this cot after reading the reviews on mumsnet, so given my disappointment I felt I had to share my experience. Upon using the cot twice, I noticed the poles used to form the curvature of the cot, started to bend more out of shape than I expected. This trend continued and it got to a point where the poles when assembled were completely bent at right angles.
I complained to the company and they sent me a new set of replacement poles. I didn't check these upon arrival and assumed that they were new.
I then needed the cot last weekend and took out the poles. To my disgust I discovered they had sent me used and second hand poles which then split when I tried to assemble them. I then had to go and buy aRead moreLess3 people found this review helpful.

We bought this cot to travel around South Africa for 3 weeks with our 8-month old. She loved it and it was great for staying in lots of different places as she had consitency in her cot at night. Lovely and light, easy to set up, robust and we've had loads of use out of it since. Highly recommended

We used this from birth to 3 years for DS, he's (just) finally grown out of it. It stands out as one of the best bits of baby kit we bought. It's lightweight, packs up small and can be used for camping as well inside a house/hotel.

We are really pleased with this travel cot and have used it a lot. It is easy to assemble, light weight, washable (great when out little one had a tummy bug on holiday!), sturdy and doesn't fill the car boot.

21-Jul-2010
We love this travel cot! Something no one else has mentioned is that because it's got a zip at the side, it's possible to hold yr baby's hand if they occasionally need this to get to sleep. This would be harder with a traditional travel cot.

This cot is brilliant,
I have been rying to look for a light weight cot so I can fit it in my suitcase and avoid having to pay for another bag on easy jet and this cot is perfect, light weight, quite small when folded but large when assembled. My daughter thought it was great fun sleeping in her own tent.
I found easy to put up but have experience in putting up tents.Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

put our son in this since aged 4 months he is now 16 months and still working great. light weight so great for holidays, compact when folded and really easy to put up (alothough we camp so used to tents). the optional sunshade is really useful- put our boy in it on the beach, park etc and he will still sleep as well as not get burnt. also keeps it darker for daytime naps.

Super lightweight and still sturdy. I think it is a really clever design. We used the Arc2 four separate times over the Xmas break whilst staying with the family. Honestly, it may look a bit "modern" but it is an excellent travel cot...

It is brilliant because it is so easy to carry around. It can't weigh more than 5 lbs! The design is different to all the other cots because it uses poles which you bend into shape. Once assembled, it is amazingly stable and strong. We really like it.

24-Apr-2009
What a great idea, I never thought of using this style of cot before. It looks cool and is actually easy to put up, with its two colour coded poles, you just can't go wrong. The mattress is also pretty comfy, as our daughter has slept well each time we've used it. It's light weight and compact, making it the best transportable cot we've used.

21-Apr-2009
I bought this cot because of the weight. We go camping a lot and I thought it would be ideal to go in the tent. That said, we use it all the time when travelling to my parents and then in the garden as well. It is very well made, goes up quite easily and Ollie seems to like it which is good news!. Top tip, get the new one, it is made from polycotton and has the mattress cover included - essential!

29-Sep-2008
This has been brilliant so far. Its light, fits easily into our suitcase, is simple and quick to put up/take down and pack away, and seems really stable; also the matress seems larger, and softer (more like our cotbed matress), than other travel cots I've looked at(some seem very hard?). I thought it would be fiddly and was really suspicious about the whole 'tent' concept but we needed something light to take on holiday, so I was talked into it by my husband. Thankfully its worked out really well. Having said that, our son is only 10 months and we've only used it on about 6 trips so far - so I hope it still works well when he is bigger!

20-Sep-2008
after restless nights in various travel cots we tried the little life & my daughter LOVES it! We put it up in her room a few nights before using & she uses it like a playhouse! she sleeps very soundly in it - we use a sheepskin rug under the sheet for extra comfort. Very easy to put up - similar to a sun shelter - very light & tiny compared to most worth the money & will use for years to come...

Excellent product. Having changed from the more traditional square style Graco one this is miles better. For both camping and air travel it's so light and small to pack. Little bug seems happy as larry in it - and I can't see what the difference is between this and the Nomad - except for price?! Need to purchase the sun shade for it now to use outside.

02-Sep-2007
this travel cot is truly portable. we have made it more so by using a 3/4 length thermarest instead of the provided mattress, which we do at our own risk. we pack the components separately and they fit easily into a 65l rucksack, with plenty of space for dd's other stuff. it is easy to assemble, although you do need a bit of room and it can seem tricky at first and dd loves it. it is very sturdy and cannot be knocked over by its inhabitant.

Very compact and light to carry. Easy to put up/take down. Requires some space to assemble the poles (managed it on my own but it is easier with two people) and probably takes up more floor space than a standard travel cot (but will also last longer).
