Brilliant!!! A bit on the heavy side but excellent cot. But recommended another mattress be purchased to go along with the vibrating mattress provided. a bit on the pricey side. But all in all great deal.

"We bought the deluxe model to use for our son…"
11-Jun-2008
We bought the deluxe model to use for our son to sleep in every night until he is old enough to go into his own room. We don't have the room for a 'proper' cot in our room and this one can be moved around easily. His first night in it he didn't wake as much as he had the room to spread out. It has a vibrating bassinet and plays either music or wave / bird sounds which can get him off to sleep easily. He is now just over 4 months old and will be moving into his own room soon, the travel cot will go to his grandmas and be used again and again there.
I would recommend getting a good mattress for it many websites will make them to fit travel cots. We have used the mattress with the bassinet.Read moreLess2 people found this review helpful.

Although we have never actually travelled anywhere with this its used as a spare at grandparents house, it is an excellent buy.
We used it instead of a moses basket when our daughter was born in our bedroom, the bassinet saves having to bend down and the changing table on the top is a godsend was gutted when our daughter was too big to use it anymore.
Also the light is excellent for night time feeds and use as a night light.
Only downside is it takes us ages to put in up, seems a bit overly complicated, maybe its just me?
over all very good value for money.Read moreLessMumsnetter mummytoisla

Great product.
Also just read that the Bassinet doesn't fit in the main carry case - which is right. Wanted to point out that it fits in a side pocket that is also on the casrry case!Read moreLessMumsnetter Moochina

Fantastic! Great for travel within same country - to bulky/heavy for overseas travel. The vibrations and music are brilliant and the light is great for night time. Easy to put up and down and really sturdy.

A feature-packed travel cot with a lock-on changing unit and "comfortable" bassinet "so you don't have to bend too far down into the cot" plus "the space underneath serves is great for storing toys and spare bedding". Although very heavy and bulky, the wheels make it easier to transport than other lighter models "though you still have to fit it in the boot!" "Easy to assemble, it's occasionally resistant to being disassembled and repacked in the bag, but the consensus that it was "excellent value". One user raved: "Our single best baby investment".

In my opinion, this is the best travelcot on the market. It has great accessories - a bassinet, light, lullaby and even a mobile. Unfortunately, the mobile is grey and black - my babies weren't interested in it at all! I hung some of their colourful toys on it, which they loved! It is a big travelcot, which was my main reason for buying it as I have baby twins and wanted it to last as long as possible! One downside is that although the cot itself is very easy to transport when folded up, the bassinet did not fit into the folded item and has to be carried separately. This is probably because the bassinet won't be used for very long, in which case, I would have liked to have a separate carry bag for this as it is a bit difficult to carry without one!

Fantastic item! Not only does the cot have 2 levels,so you don't need to bend with a newborn baby,it also has a light whcih is great to use in the night. There is also built in music of about 15 different tunes, amking it easier to help the baby sleep and even a vibrating mattress.Overall it's a great product, which also looks nice.Only downside is trying to fit everything into the bag afterwards!

"DS is very happy in this whether it's being used…"
07-Jan-2007
DS is very happy in this whether it's being used as a travel cot on trips away or as a playpen at home. The soft sides make it ideal as a playpen as he can't hurt himself cruising around and he can see us through the mesh. It's very heavy and quite awkward to wheel around when closed, but much easier when open. Setting it up isn't too bad once you've got the knack, and it certainly feels sturdy and secure. The only problem we've had was when I tried to get it downstairs without closing it first and it got stuck in the stairwell - the cot survived!

Very good as a travel cot. Not sure about the bassinet as our baby would not settle in it, it does move around as it isn't fixed to the sides of the cot

Heavy but the wheels compensate for that. Especially love the music and light capability for soothing baby to sleep. The changing station is good for younger (i.e. less heavy) babies. I also think it's one of the more stylish of the cots and would be happy using it as a playpen in the lounge.

All the extras you could ask for - bassinette, changing unit and durable bag. Looks great and is roomy as far as travle cots go. We have got loads of use out of ours and Jasmin seems comfy and happy in it. Folds up compact when not in use - can't fault it!

Great to use the bassinette with a newborn. Our baby (8 weeks) has slept in it as her main bed since birth. We haven't disassembled it much but it seems very heavy and cumbersome. The vibrate feature is great and very soothing for our babe.

Good, but quite heavy and extra parts don't pack in the bag. My baby was quite big so it made the use of the bassinet (max weight 6.5kgs) too short lived to make it good value for money really.

Like the good quality change unit and baby loved the bassinet. I found it heavy to handle though my husband managed it. Bulky. Easy to put up and disassemble thanks to simple pull mechanism. Lovely accessories a bit OTT for an overnight stay, add to the bulk. The entire cot and accessories do not fit into the cot bag which is a big No No when you are trying to minimise baggage. Good quality though. Would recommend this cot for long stays or multiple trips.

I bought this for the bassinet feature as I thought it would save my back however, it shook when baby lay in it and this woke him up so I gave up on it very quickly! The vibration feature was also pretty useless as it was too noisy and violent. You could get a cheaper model with less useless features.

We actually have the deluxe version of this model which also has a light, music and vibrating mattress. It's a great travel cot and so much easier having the bassinet, meaning the baby is higher up and you don't have to bend.It is also a great size with plenty of room for the baby.We also found the light very handy indeed, for checking on the baby in the night and the music really helped to send our son off to sleep. He never liked his moses basket,so slept in the travel cot for about 3 months in our room, which was ideal. Now that he is older,we still use it and take it on holiday with us,instead of hiring a cot and of course it doubles up nicely as a playpen too,to keep him out of mischief.I would definately recommend getting one.

Great value for money - we have used it since day one at home. The bassinette - we used instead of moving the moses basket downstairs each day; the changing top was a life saver (as I'd had a c-section and struggled to bend down or get onto the floor); and the travel cot was great at ensuring that our dog couldn't lick our son or knock over the moses basket!
Planning to use it as a play pen when he is a bit older.Read moreLess
