"Lightweight and super easy to put up and down…"
We recently used the Baby Bjorn Travel Cot Light for a visit to my inlaws with my 3 month old son. I've struggled with various travel cots in the past - flimsy or rock hard mattresses, complicated (or impossible) folding mechanisms, or crushingly heavy to carry. I wish I'd just spent the extra money on something like this when my first child was born. At just 6kgs, you can sling it over your shoulder and still pick up the baby with the other hand. It unfolds super easily and (this was the clincher) folds back down again in seconds too. On top of that, the mattress that comes with it (don't be fooled be cheap models where you end up having to fork out for a bulky mattress too) is pure luxury compared to previous travel ones we've used. My son slept through which, considering he wasn't in his usual room, is a miracle. Sleep is well worth it.Read moreLess

We travel a lot and I am completely useless when it comes to putting up travel cots, however, I managed this one! It's light and easy to carry through an airport. My DD found it quite comfortable and didn't manage to jump out of it! Pricey but good.Read moreLess

"I've never been a fan of travel cots - I…"
I've never been a fan of travel cots - I feel as if I've fought with them on every continent and every form of transport, BUT now I no longer need one for myself they've brought one out that really is light and really is easy peasy lemon squeezy to put up (taking it down is a bit more of a knack but easy once you get to know how). I have twin 15-month-old niece and nephew and needed somewhere for them to sleep over Xmas at our house and even though we only had one cot we managed to have a couple of silent nights with both of them squidged into the same cot. We then packed it up and sent it off with them and it's been a great success since. You can literally lift it with one hand and hardly notice, you can open it out in seconds and it comes with a handy travelling case. It's not cheap, but for portability and functionality it's just fantastic.Read moreLess
