"Cosy, feel happy tent…"
We have this soulpad, and have had it for 5 years. It's lasted so well and we love it dearly.
It's big spacious, never leaked even when we camped in the Lakes and it rained for 3 days, and we slept over a giant puddle. We have the woodburner that goes with it, which it fab and well worth it. We also have an Outwell tarp for outside, as what is does lack is a covered outdoor area for wellies and such!
And as it only has one central pole, a piece of cake to erect.Read moreLess
"Ok, but will not buy…"
We (family of 4) booked this tent as ready erected on campsite, before kids where born we use to go camping, but this was our first trial camp with kids age 5 and 2. The tent is big, but there is no dividers it is as studio, I suppose. I found that this tent is not really suitable for small kids, as it is very light inside almost all night. Our 2 yo will not settle to slip at her normal time as she was very exited with all new experiences she has and the fact that there were no way to black out the light or close the "bedroom door" didn't help. So we let her run around the tent and dive on her new blow up bed and she was very happy to do so for 3 hours. The other sing we've been missing is canopy, it was rainy on our second day and with the outside roof it would be easier to cook and keep our "furniture" dry and there are no windows, we'll there are, but you need to lie down to be able to see anything outside. For me the perfect tent must have bedrooms, preferably with light block out system, separate living space, outside roof canopy, large windows. For the price you pay for this tent you can get Airbeam tent, with all of the above features and it will take the same 10 min to put up.Read moreLess

We are quite a large family (height wise) and this tent is amazing! My DH is more or less able to stand up inside, but what i love best is all of us sleeping in the same space - as you can image the kids love it as well!Read moreLess

"If it's good enough for One Direction.....!…"
We love our bell tent. My 13 year old daugter was sceptical until she saw them featured in a One Direction video!
Loads of room, sturdy even in winds whipping direct off the sea when camped on a cliff. And you can even have a chandelier inside!Read moreLess
"Well what can I say that hasn't already been said…"
Well what can I say that hasn't already been said on Mumsnet?!
I have to say I wasn't keen on the idea of camping. I'm much more of a 5* hotel kind of girl. However I said I would go if I could have a large tent with separate bedrooms, lots of space etc etc. This I got and more and it was great but I kept seeing these Bell Tents everywhere and I'd already got into my head that I wanted a canvas tent.
It took me a long time, but I finally managed to convince DH that a Bell Tent was the way to go (something about 68 pegs in our old tent and it taking over an hour to put up).
I can honestly say we are both converted. We've had several weekends this year where I have gone to the site ahead of the family and out the tent up by myself with absolutely no problems.
Nothing beats waking up in the morning with no condensation, nothing feels damp, it looks, smells and feels lovely.
I now prefer us all sleeping in one big room (we do have their inner which is also fab) as its easier to deal with any night time wakings.
Even DH who held out for ages agrees its the best.
There are downsides. It is heavier, takes longer to dry out and there is no porch (though you can get a tarp) but compared to all the upsides, these are nothing.Read moreLess
