To Skefton,
Please note that the backrest of the Monza & Monza Seatfix (Isofix version) cannot be removed to form a booster cushion, the seat is adjustable to grow with the child up to 12 years old (1.50m height). RECARO have never produced a booster cushion and never will, due to the poor safety performance and would strongly advise against there use!Read moreLess3 people found this review helpful.

"I LOVE this car seat. I bought it for my…"

I LOVE this car seat. I bought it for my daughter (3yrs) as she still falls asleep regularly in the car but in her other seat she would "slouch" forward which concerned me with regards to spinal damage. This car seat reclines, if you want to recline you do need to take child out of the car unless you do what I do and have it permanently reclined. NB: Your cars seats also need to recline for it to be truly effective, I have a Vauxhall Zafira 06 plate (basic model) and the rear seat does recline so this works well for me. I also place it in the front seat (it moves between depending on if I am working or not, I'm a childminder) with the seat pushed back as far as possible as the airbag does not turn off - the ROSPA website seems to find this acceptable and therefore so do I. It also has an inflatable headrest which my daughter likes. It has speakers in the headrest and a pocket on left hand side of seat to attach an MP3 player, I haven't used it yet and don't have big expectations (it can't go too loud due to safety restrictions for children's hearing) but if it means she can listen to her cd whilst I listen to mine it's got to be good! I really am very happy with this seat, between my own 2 children and 1 minded child I have had 7 seats now (6 models) and this is my favourite so far! I should add, my daughter has not found the fabric to be sweaty and has found the seat to be very comfortable. The high back removes to become a booster later on (so you will lose the speakers but by then it won't be a problem as they'll either have headphones in for music or gaming!) and covers remove for cleaning very easily.
