I bought this bike for my sons 3rd birthday. He loved it, although it took him a while to get used to sitting on it whilst propelling forward. Before that he would hold the handlebars and walk.
He is now four and a half and utterly hates it. He says it hurts his bum when he sits on it and he wants a "proper bike" like his big sisters. After much consideration of upgrading to a bigger balance bike with a more ergonomic saddle, I have reluctantly bought him a traditional bike. However, I feel this bike has helped him develop his balance. If I had known more prior to buying it, I would have probably bought him a metal strider, but I love the look of wood.!Read moreLess
