Puky Balance Bike

These actually are available in two sizes my son has one that should see him through to 5, he's now 3.

I cannot recommend these bikes enough. No stabilisers and just two wheels. They have no pedals and rely on a child learning to balance and push themselves along with their feet and lift them up when they don't need momentum. Ds was confident on his so fast and really loves it, still calls it his new bike and shows it off to people now 6 months after getting it! They learn to balance so quickly and can go fast and really enjoy it whereas trike's and such are so slow and cumbersome and you end up carrying the things.

I think these are excellent, sturdy, lovely looking, great fun for kids and will make a much better transition to riding a real bike than trike's etc.
