"This is not a very good sling, it is, however,"
01-Mar-2012
This is not a very good sling, it is, however, quite cheap. I think it is a false economy to buy this sling on cost alone as invariably you will buy a better wrap in a month's time and end up spending even more money. The main issue with this wrap is its lack of stretch. A good woven wrap has a diagonal stretch, this means that carrying a baby is both extremely comfortable and secure. With the sturdy wrap, there is no stretch at all and it felt like carrying a bag of potatoes around my neck. I found this sling very uncomfortable and inflexible.
Good slings are expensive, it is good to join your local sling meet and try some out.Read moreLessMumsnetter enirra

"I was wanting to upgrade from my ring sling to"
21-Oct-2011
I was wanting to upgrade from my ring sling to a wrap, but didnt want to spend a fortune as I was a wrap novice - so I found Victoria Slinglady sturdy wraps to be a great price and really well made.
It changed my life as a full time babywearer :o) - it's long enough to be able to do many different carries, in very strong material so my 16mnth old feels very secure and is happy.
Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to babywear but who doesn't have the budget to invest in a woven wrap. They are all safety-tested too which gives peace of mind xRead moreLess1 person found this review helpful.
