"The perfect carrier…"
This is simply the best carrier out there.
Our little girl has suffered from birth with severe GERD (reflux disease) and babywearing was not only a choice but a necessity. After trying many brands including Boba, Caboo and Baby Bjorn, I came across Sleepy Nico.
These carriers are soft, so easy to use, beautifully made and stunning to look at, so supportive and to top it all off, this small UK based company has given me some of the best customer service I have ever received.
Our little girl is over a stone in weight at 9months can only nap in the day when carried in a sling. The Sleepy Nico (SN) keeps her legs and hips in the perfect recommended 'm' position for her development, she feels as light as a feather and it cuddles her so close, it feels like she becomes part of my body. The perfect fit. I used to get terrible back, neck and shoulder ache with all the other brands after minutes wear, but with the SN I could happily wear her all day.
I can not recommend this carrier highly enough. If you want the closeness and softness of a wrap or caboo with the ease and support of a structured carrier, this is without a doubt the perfect carrier for you!
Not only this but the choice of designs are stunning, the fabrics beautiful quality and they are all handmade.
Amazing value for money, especially when compared to other machine made, mass produced brands out there.
Our SN has been such a blessing, we now have two and are thinking about a third (one for my husband and my mum!).Read moreLess
"Strong but light weight front and back baby carrier…"
Sleepy Nico is the best of the 2 carriers I've used with my DC. I'm so glad I got one really. It's given us a new lease of going out experiences! It's super stylish, made of engaging fabric, and it's durable. It's very easy to adjust the handles to get a snuggle or spacious fit depending on the purpose of the carrying at any point in time. The back carrying especially helps when DC needs to be carried whilst doing chores or even brushing one's teeth. Sleepy Nico's customer service is also fab, this is very important to me. So glad we came across Sleepy Nico, so glad we have a Sleepy Nico! :-)Read moreLess
"Beautiful, comfortable and easy to use. Highly recommended.…"
Our custom carrier is fantastic. It's beautiful, comfortable and easy to use. The quality is superb and they are really well priced compared to a lot of baby carriers. I use it every day and would be lost without it. I would definitely recommend them.Read moreLess
"Love love love…"
Love my Sleepy Nico Serine Garden carrier as does my little one! I rented a sleepy Nico from the local sling library and didn't hesitate to buy one 2 months later - I couldn't be without it!
Super easy to put on, evenly distributes the weight and looks so pretty, I have had many compliments and have been recommending to friends with babies. Wish I had had one of these with my first.Read moreLess
"Quality product, easy to use and excellent customer service…"
I have just purchased one of the first custom toddler Sleepy Nicos and can honestly say that I have not tried a more comfortable carrier. The waistband and straps are lightly padded without being too cumbersome. The carrier is easy to use and comfortable, even at 36 weeks pregnant, I can still carry my 22 month old girl for short journeys with the waistband under my bump. The straps are easily adjustable for both myself and my husband to use. Even my little girl brings the carrier to me and asks to 'go up in the dragons'! The product is very well made. The toddler Sleepy Nico is a quality product and is definitely value for money.Read moreLess
"Ab Fab Carrier…"
I bought two of these for our sling library and they have been really well received. Colourful cotton and soft cord fabric make them really eye catching and also very comfortable to wear. They are a good lightweight carrier for short everyday wears and easy to put on quickly as full buckles. So impressed just bought a toddler one for personal use!Read moreLess

"Absolutely beautiful - great customer service on custom order…"
I tried out a few SSCs at my local sling library, and fell in love with the Sleepy Nico. Unlike other SSCs, no crossing the straps required for front carrys and the side straps don't dig in. It's really comfy and my daughter also loves being in it.
I decided to get a custom order, and was impressed with the customer service. From order to receiving the sling only took 6 weeks, whereas other companies it can take up to a year for customs!!! Really reasonably priced too. Angeline was very patient with me requesting lots of photos of colour matches for the cord straps, and always quick to reply to emails.Read moreLess
"The best carrier I have ever used…"
I was on the search for a new carrier which would make getting my 2 little ones around with ease. I had tried many different ones and even made a couple of wraps and ring slings. I am s glad that I found Sleepy Nico, it is the best carrier I have ever tried. It is so comfortable to wear (I'm 6 foot and on the large size). The beautifully made carrier is easy to put on and adjust and easy to stow away when not in use. It happily sits in my bag while I not using it. My youngest is 2 1/2 now and goes in it all the time. He loves to walk but when he gets tired, on my back he goes and off we go. Easy. The padded straps are just right (I've tried some carriers where the straps are too bulky and some which are too uncomfortable, but this is a carrier which hits the spots, comfortable whist not being bulky. ON a recent holiday to Hong Kong, my Sleepy Nico was invaluable. We did take a buggy as I was expecting my 2 children (4 & 2 1/2) to get tired. However the pushchair was nothing but trouble in the street and on transport. The carrier made everything just so easy. The pushchair was used once, the carrier, every day. When my 4 year old got tired, she went in it too, meaning I could carry on travelling with hands free and extra support to hold her while sleeping. If you are thinking of getting a SSC, you need to check out Sleepy Nico first. A lovely company with well made, beautifully designed carriers.Read moreLess

"Practical and beautiful…"
I initially borrowed a Sleepy Nico from our local sling library and was impressed by how comfortable it was and how easy to take on and off. The only downside was that my scarves stuck to the velcro on the shoulder straps. However, when I contacted Angeline (the maker) about a custom made carrier she suggested that I trial a new style of fastening. Angeline was very easy to work with and ordered the fabric that I wanted for me. I'm delighted with the result - the carrier is attractive (lots of positive comments when out and about), comfortable for me and the wee one, and clearly very durable given the amount of use it gets! The new fastening works well and I would recommend asking Angeline about it if you are unsure about the velcro.Read moreLess

I was recommended to Sleepy Nico by a close friend who had recently bought one and loved it. I managed to borrow one from my local sling library and I think by the end of the first day of wearing it, both myself and my little boy were sold! It's easy to put on and so comfortable to wear. My son looks so comfy whilst being carried and will happily fall asleep in it. If he's having a cranky day, i can just pop him in the sling and he settles almost immediately. I really liked how soft the carrier was, yet still very supportive. Its also very easily adjustable, and works well for both me (5'0") and my husband (5'8").
The hardest bit by far was deciding on a fabric. I went for the option of picking my own to create a beautiful custom sling. I worked very closely with Angeline and she helpfully suggested websites and ideas for fabrics and cords. The end result was absolutely gorgeous, even more so than i thought it would be. Every time we venture out with the sling I get complimented on it, and have had lots of other mums asking where I got it from. Its brilliant value too, especially compared to some of the other carriers on the market.
My only regret is not getting it sooner!Read moreLess

"The best sling EVER!!…"
I love love LOVE my Sleepy Nico sling. I visited my local sling library and tried at least 10 slings, and the Nico was by far the most comfortable. It's incredibly quick and easy to put on, just a couple of straps to clip and tighten and you're done. It's also very easy to undo so if your baby is asleep you can do a sling to cot transfer without a problem. The shoulder straps and waistband are padded and the sleep hood is a good size and velcro's to the shoulder straps, serving as a rain cover / head warmer in the wintry weather, or sunshade in the sun. I actually refer to it as the 'magic hood' as when my daughter gets sleepy I put it up and she will almost immediately fall asleep.
I ordered a bespoke Nico which just cost me slightly more than a standard one (the price of the fabric), and it was really fun to work with Angeline to decide on the fabrics. She advised which websites to look at and the types of fabric that work well, and when I couldn't decide she ordered samples of the ones I liked to help me choose. The process was really simple as once I had found what I wanted she simply ordered it herself and got started.
My daughter is 6 months now and the Nico is still incredibly comfortable. I have worn it for long days out in London without any twinges of discomfort, and on the rare occasion I take the buggy the Nico comes with us for when my daughter wants to sleep as she sleeps much better in it than the buggy.
I can't recommend this sling enough, its comfortable, well made, and beautiful. I get compliments on it wherever I go and it is without doubt my best baby buy yet.Read moreLess

"Fabulous sling - really comfortable to wear, my dd loves…"
Fabulous sling - really comfortable to wear, my dd loves it & we still use it occasionally even now that she is a toddling 17 month old. It can be tricky getting her on my back without assistance, but we used it loads in the front carrying position which was brilliant, particularly on public transport. And as the other reviewer says, it looks gorgeous. Quite expensive for what it is, but then that could be said about most slings!Read moreLess
"My favourite carrier for outdoor trips. It is designed for…"
My favourite carrier for outdoor trips. It is designed for babies of four months and up, and it is incredibly easy to put on and adjust, and wonderfully comfortable. It also came with very clear instructions illustrated with photographs.
On a more frivolous note, it is gorgeous! At sixty pounds it was well worth every penny.Read moreLess
