"I love my Joey Slings - I now have two.…"
I love my Joey Slings - I now have two. They are very comfortable to wear, with really padded straps and are a doddle to use. It's also great that they fold small enough to cart around just in case.
My DS is a rather hefty 10 month old, but he's still very comfortable to wear in a front carry. Recommended.Read moreLess
"I love my Joey Sling and have only just finally…"
I love my Joey Sling and have only just finally put it away now my youngest is 2.5
It has lovely super padded strapped and a gorgeous fabric panel (that can be inside for Dad).
With a back problem this sling out of all (5) other slings I owned was by far the best. The fabric is excellent quality and though has been machine washed many times looks like new.
The Mei Tai isn't the quickest to put on but IMO will certainly be the last off.Read moreLess

"Well made mei tai. Have been using it in the…"
Well made mei tai. Have been using it in the past wk for my 2mth old (froggy style) who seems very cosy in it and falls asleep each time. Have used it for a couple of hrs each day on uneven terrain and feel that it is very comfortable and the weight of the baby is well distributed.
Chose this over other mei tais as the fabric was the most gorgeous. Also, wanted a mei tai with padded straps. Am 5'3'' and husband is 6', fits both very well. Straps are very long and would fit most sizes.
Service was excellent and becky is very helpful.
Would not be too keen to use this indoors though as fabric quite thick but of course this helps with sturdiness.Read moreLess

This is the most beautiful sling I own (and I have quite a few). I bought it when ds was 10 months and have used it ever since - he is now 2. It is extremely comfortable, for back or front carries and good for discreet bf'ing on the go. I can even still carry my 4 year old dd in it still, when necessary. My only sadness is that ds usually walks now so I can't justify buying the joey I want from the new collection of fabrics. Not sure dh would accept the wish for a new sling as sufficient reason to have another baby.....Read moreLess
"I have had my joey sling for 6 months now…"
I have had my joey sling for 6 months now and love it more every time i use it!
It is extremely comfortable and very beautiful, my husband jokes that i get stopped and asked about it everytime I wear it (which is everyday), and thats not far from the truth.
My now 10 month old daughter loves it too and often crawls over to it and tries to put it on herself.
It's brilliant for housework, day trips, taking on holidays (flights included), naps on the move, travelling on the tube, and is comfortable for front and back carries.
My local mum friends have all got them, and my mother-in-law is buying her own so she can use it with her various grandchildren.
It really doens't take long to work out how to use it and it comes with a helpful picture guide.
My only problem with it? I want another one because there are so many beautiful designs!Read moreLess

"I am on my second baby (now 11 months) and…"
I am on my second baby (now 11 months) and both have virtually lived in slings!! I have a ring sling, a woven wrap and ergo and the joey is my most recent purchase.
I love the joey - it is the one i use the most by far. It is gorgeous to look at - easy to use and very comfy.
I bought it when baby was about 6/7months because he was taking lots of naps in the sling and i wanted something he could comfortably sleep in on my back whilst i got on with the housework - other slings were not comfy and it looked like his head was hanging off - the joey solved both problems - the long body is great and for keeping his head more supported and the comfort for the wearer is fantastic - i have comfortably worn him in it for hours at a time whilst cleaning etc - even now and he is a big boy! I just wish i had discovered these for number 1!!
He also sits contentedly in the front carry whilst i do the weekly shop or when we are out and about and it is really comfy for me too.
I really recommend the Joey and cant think of anything more to add that has not already been said in the other reviews!Read moreLess

I like this and love the design, my partner thinks it too girly so wont go near it. i wear our around the shops and have done now for the last 5 months. i dont think though it will last much past another couple of months as my dd is already quite large + the weight on my shoulders is getting a bit heavy. hope this helpsRead moreLess

This is an amazing sling- really easy to use and so comfortable. I now own 2 and I love them both. I bought my first when my daughter was 10 months old and wished I'd had it sooner- I have been using it with my son on my back since he was 6 weeks old and it has made parenting 2 children so much easier. I can honestly say I don't think I could survive without it. Oh and I can still wear my 3 year old in it too!Read moreLess
"Joey slings are fab. I have had a lime mei…"
Joey slings are fab. I have had a lime mei tai for about a year (so my little boy has been in it from 8-18 months ish) and it is sooooooooo much better than any contraption with buckles! Its fits to perfection every time, fits anyone and is light to cart around when you don't need it. Nothing poking into you and a very happy baby poking out the top!
I've recommended mei tais to all my friends. (For a tiny baby I can't rate the 'close' baby carrier more highly)
Even my husband doesn't mind using it!
Try a joey sling and if you think they're expensive there is always the sale!Read moreLess

"This is my absolute favourite mei tai sling. It has…"
This is my absolute favourite mei tai sling. It has beautifully padded wide shoulder straps which makes it very comfortable to use for long periods, and the padded body is firm yet soft enough to mould around the baby.
It has the advantage of being long enough to provide head support for a sleeping baby, but is also flexible enough to allow you to fold down the top for an awake one who wants to look around.
The loop for a toy is a nice touch but I would make sure you attach a soft one for your own comfort!
As with any mei tai the length of the straps means they can trail on the ground when putting it on, but it does have the advantage that it can be shared by a partner without any fiddly adjusting.
The step-by-step instructions are excellent, very detailed and clear, and with photographs for every stage.
Front carrying is very simple. You can back carry too but it does take a bit more practice to master.
The fabric choice is sumptuous and the sling reverses to a plain side for a partner who prefers an unpatterned carrier.
It can be used for tiny babies but mine was bought to use with an eight-month-old and is still in daily use with a one-year-old. It probably gets more use than any of my other slings as it is my husband's favourite by far.
It cost sixty pounds and I think it was worth every penny.Read moreLess
