"I've been using this carrier for about a week with…"
I've been using this carrier for about a week with my newborn, and have found it to be very convenient and comfortable. As he's still small I've only used the inward-facing front position, but I like that as he grows I'll be able to have him facing out, or put him on my back. Having researched a lot of carriers, the Catbird Pikkolo seems to give you the most options as regards positions. I also like that this carrier combines the cosy feeling of a mei-tai but has buckles, so you don't have the straps dragging on the floor ever time you adjust it.
The best aspect for me has been that I can nurse in this carrier very discreetly and without using my hands. I walked all the way to a friend's house (about 30 minutes away) nursing the whole time, and no one we passed noticed. All you have to do is adjust the straps so your baby's head is near enough to your breast, latch him on, and put the sleeping hood up to keep yourself covered. It's brilliant for around the house as well!Read moreLess
