"Awful – almost put me off babywearing for life…"
I received this as a gift for my first baby. She was a high-needs, shark baby – wouldn't sleep except in our arms (if then!), wasn't happy awake or asleep unless being carried around. So a sling seemed like a great idea, but neither my husband nor I could ever get her comfortable in this. She cried and cried. It also really, really hurt my back.
Luckily I received some good advice on trying other slings (starting with a Moby, progressing to soft structured carriers and mei tais; even other, better ring and pouch slings) and indeed, slings turned out to be AWESOME and lifesaving and we all loved babywearing, for years... but not this one. I wouldn't even give it away. No one deserves this crap.Read moreLess

It seems sturdy and simple enough. My baby loathed it though. It just doesn't spread his weight so whatever position I settle him in, he ends up curled up like a snail in one small spot. We've practised and practised and I'm not subjecting him to it any more.Read moreLess
"The Baby Sense Sling is the best Baby Carier I…"
The Baby Sense Sling is the best Baby Carier I have used. It is so easy to set up. I used it right from the day both my children were born right up until 2 years. Once it's threaded through it is just a matter of adjusting the strap to how you want to use it. You can have it in the hammock position with baby sitting up or lying down, front hold and hip hold. Great padding on your shoulder and wide accross your back to distribute the weight.Read moreLess
