"Comfortable, front and back carry…"
I used a stretchy moby along for the first 4 months with my daughter which I loved but as she got heavier I found I was getting backache. I thought about trying a woven sling but my partner hadn't found the moby as easy as I had so thought I'd try a soft carrier. I chose the bondolino because I was getting some lower back pain and the bondolino has a really wide waistband so most of the weight can be carried on the hips. I'm quite small and the waist band is adjusted using Velcro so I could get it to fit just right. The bndolino has no buckles which I liked because my husband and I both use it and we are quite different sizes but because you tie it fresh every time it always fits right. I haven't used it much on my back yet but my daughter is now 18 lb and I have no problems carrying her for hours at a time in this on my front. I like the hood for when she's asleep but the downside with Velcro is its noisy to undo so sometimes wakes her up if I need to adjust it. Overall I'd recommend this carrier, it's very sturdy, well made, the fabric is soft as its made from woven sling fabric, my husband loves it, good carrying position for baby and me, front and back carrier usable through toddler years. Downsides: bulkier than a traditional mei tei but probably harder wearing, the shoulder straps are so wide that on my small frame they were uncomfortable at first until the fabric softened up.Read moreLess
After using a stretch wrap and then a pouch style one shoulder sling with my newborn, I was looking for something which was more comfortable and would not give me backache. The Bondolino was the answer to my prayers, it is comfortable for both me and my baby, who will happily nap in it while I get on with things. The big shoulder straps are very supportive, but the fabric of the sling is very light as it is made from wrap fabric, so it does not get too hot in there. I can get the sling on and the baby in in only a minute or so - much easier than complicated wrapping when in the middle of a car park. It even has a handy little dummy pocket on the front. I can't recommend this sling highly enough, it really ticks all the boxes for me.Read moreLess

"easiest way to carry!…"
having tried a number of carriers and slings, this has been the best by a long way. Easy to use from newborn up to 3 year old (if you can get 3 year old to stay still for long enough!), has waistband extender available for those who are more (ahem) ample of waist than others, feels very secure, and comes in a range of colours that both men and women can use without embarrassment.

the straps are strong, long, and easy to tie, the waistband is secure and comfortable, and my newborn will happily sleep in the sling for hours. I have also managed to nurse in the sling a couple of times, and it is not the easiest thing to do, but not complicated either. there is a wee hood that can be pulled up to cover the child's head, and it is easy to adjust.

the sling has a wee pouch at the front which will fit a normal smartphone and some cash/cards. the only thing missing is a pouch for my keys!Read moreLess
