"Great for bigger babies and toddlers, very comfortable…"
I bought this for my toddler but I am also using it with my eight month old now because it's so easy to use, and much more comfortable than a baby bjorn. It really is incredibly quick to get baby or toddler in and out of this, I was so surprised by this after trialling many structured baby slings.
I really like the high back support and hood that zips away. It has so many extra features that make it really user friendly. And all the padding make it by far the most comfortable sling I've tried.Read moreLess

"Very comfortable with loads of great features…"
I bought the Boba 3G carrier after doing quite a bit of research into which carrier would be comfortable to wear and not put too much strain on my shoulders, neck and back. Having previously used a Baby Bjorn, which was hugely uncomfortable after 5 minutes, I was so pleased with my purchase.
The Boba 3G is really comfortable to wear as it has a thick padded band to sit on your hips and also goes over your shoulders like a rucksack. It's so easy to put my little one in (he's 6 months at the moment so is still on the front facing me) and he loves being in there as the fabric is so soft it moulds to his body shape, rather than him being squashed to fit the carrier.
There are few small but great features which I love. Firstly, there is a small hood which tucks neatly away in a zipped pocket, to pop easily over baby's head when he is sleeping. I have also used this to shelter him from the rain when we were caught in an unexpeceted shower!
Secondly, (and this may seem minor but I think it is amazing as it was always my problem with carriers before)it has a loop on the shoulder to attach a bag to so it doesn't keep slipping off. This is secured by a popper.
Finally, there is a small zipped pocket on the bottom which I find useful for keys/phone etc.
As well as all this, there are a number of funky designs to choose from. We went for the kangaroo design as it was fairly unisex and my husband also enjoys carrying our little boy in it. It was hard to choose though!
The only slight downside (and this is quite minor) is that I found it difficult to do up the strap across my back on my own to start with but once practised it becomes much easier.
All in all, I really wish I'd bought this carrier to begin with, rather than wasting money on a Baby Bjorn!Read moreLess

I bought my Boba 3G after reading reviews from friends in America. My Ergo had never fit me well and I'd given up on babywearing my 16 month old. What a difference this carrier made!
First, the material is really soft and the straps and well padded. My toddler sits higher in this than she did in the Ergo, which is nice for her, but the back is taller so I don't feel as though she could tip out at any moment!
There are foot "stirrups" for older children so that their legs don't dangle about!
I am looking forward to trying this with a newborn some day, as it doesn't require any inserts or faffing, just a one-time rejigging of the belt attachment to the carrier. Cannot recommend the Boba 3G enough!Read moreLess

"Fantastic features for both newborns and toddlers...…"
I was looking for a carrier for my toddler (20 months) and did quite a bit of research on the best carrier for older babies. The Boba 3G stood out from a number of reviews as being good for bigger babies as it is wider and taller than other soft structured carriers. Also a number of mums who ran sling libraries seemed to rate them. It also appealed because it has an integrated adjustment for newborns rather than a newborn insert which you have to buy separately like the Ergo. I am planning another child so this was important too. I find it very comfortable, easy to adjust and have had no problems getting my boy on my back by myself standing up. He seems to like riding on my back when out and I really enjoy being able to talk to him which is more difficult with a buggy. Haven't tried the foot stirrups yet or the sleep hood. It also has a few handy extras like a loop to attach your shoulder bag strap to so it doesn't fall off your shoulder and lots of pockets for storage.
Overall, I love it! Very pleased I went ahead and bought it after some reservations (I tried him on my back with the wrap when he was about 9 months and never managed to get the hang of it). My hubby likes it too. We got the glacier version and its really nice, unisex too. Excellent quality, brilliant!Read moreLess
