Cosatto Cabi

A good-looking car seat which gets quite a few compliments and has a nicely curved, rockable base. Our daughter always slept well in it and it has good (slightly boob-like!) cushioning around the head for newborns.

Very useful if you have a compatible pram - Cosatto Cabi or Budi - as it means you can just take the car seat and pram wheels on crowded buses and trains - and even on city breaks and in taxis/other people's cars. However it's not as widely compatible with prams as a Maxi Cosi for instance. And I didn't like the synthetic material of the cover so much as this sometimes meant for sweaty journeys - I'd recommend lining it with a muslin.

Another annoying design feature is the hooks for the seatbelt, as these are stiff and fiddly, though they soften eventually after regular use. They always seemed more stubborn when I was in a hurry!
