This was the very best purchase that we made for our little one - it meant that she could sleep flat and comfortably in the car, we didn't have to disturb her getting out of the car, it attached straight onto the wheels and turned into a pram, we could complete long journeys in the car with ease, also easy to unclip on a train and put onto the seats again without disturbing baby. Very easy to install, ability to install in relatives cars with just carrying 2 small clips for the seatbelt. Everyone that saw this thought it was ingenious. Can't recommend it highly enough.

DD looked so scrunched up in a car seat, but in the Baby-Safe Sleeper she could lay out flat and sleep peacefully. Made long journeys to visit distant family members much easier. The fact that it can be clipped into the frame was fantastic too. She spent many happy hours protected in her little cucoon.
The fabric was relatively easy to remove for cleaning and washed well, and we managed to reattach it without too many problems. You can get a rain cover for it too that zips down the middle to give quick access, which was handy on several occasions.
The Baby-Safe Sleeper is reassuringly sturdy, but also quite heavy, especially with a growing baby in it! It's not unmanagable, but you need or will develop strong arm muscles if you're going to be carrying it around a lot.Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

Absoloutly loved it, perfect for my baby and my life, got slightly bulky and heavy as it he got to 6 months but it was so good and I had a happyer baby than the ones in the car seats.

Brilliant car seat seat, really comfortable for my baby. The midwives were really impressed with this when my husband came to collect us from hospital. It is quite heavy and I wouldn't want to walk far with it - but takes no effort at all to attach to the pushchair. Worth every penny.

We bought this after being disappointed by the BeSafe as it doesn't lie flat for newborns. It's very sturdy and comfortable and super-easy to install. And the roll bar/handle that adds protection is a great bonus - it is heavier than others but not too tricky to carry short distances.

"This is a fantastic carry cot that doubles up as…"

This is a fantastic carry cot that doubles up as a car seat. It is very easy to get in and out of the car and on and off the pushchair base. It is great as a carry cot and superb as a car seat as baby is flat and so long journeys only need to be interrupted for feeding. Our daughter slept for many hours in this in the car on her first long journey at 3 weeks old. It is supposed to last until 6mths/10kg, but sadly our daughter is very long and looks as if she will outgrow it well before then. The only other downside is that it takes up 2 car seats and although an adult can sit comfortably next to it in the back of our golf you cannot fit a second car seat in so if needed to transport a second child they would need to go in the front. It scored well for safety in a which survey I saw and it certainly feels very robust and has a 3 point harness and roll bar. The new born insert (buy separately) was handy until she weighed approx 10lb. Can also buy a raincover separately. Note it is a little heavier than the average car seat, but as it attaches so easily to the pushchair base I don't find this an issue as I don't carry it over long distances, but if you had to carry it up stairs etc regularly it might not suit you.
