Great Seat, easy to recline when LO has fallen asleep. Can be done from the front seat. The seat itself is very sturdy and feels secure. The straps are easy to adjust but yes can be fiddly when moving up a size. All in all a great seat and very happy with it.

Just got this week my LO is 9 months old, its a large seat but shes very happy facing forward and looks very comfortable. Its easy to fit & you can recline if they fall asleep which is a blessing as its the norm for most babies in the car !

Its really wide which is a pain if you've got 3 seats in the back, but then agani that does make it more comfortable to sit in.

Brilliant seat - very heavy and bulky and fiddly to install till you get the hang of it but that just makes it feel safe and sturdy. Very easy to recline, comfy to sleep in, I give it full marks!

We bought this after using the online Britax fit finder to go in a double cab pick up on a lap belt. Very impressed with the seat. It is easy to recline and put upright, even from the front seat, and the straps pull nice and tight in one movement. It's a bit fiddly to put in the car and to increase the strap height but probably because we've lost the instructions.

Great seat - really sturdy, very comfortable, angle of seat easily adjusted (from the front of base of seat so easy access) for sleeping baby. Being strong and sturdy I would have to mark it down for portability, and it is a bit fiddly to install to start with until you get the hang of it, but I would say it is worth it to get a seat which is well-made and stands up amongst the best in safety tests.

Really pleased with this car seat and would highly recommend it. I bought the Britax Eclipse Si - Graphite, and it's really compfy, easy to use, looks smart, easy to recline. I also found their website useful for checking which seat would fit.

after looking into the reviews by mumsnet members about many car seats I set out to see which one would fit my car the best. empowered with all the information decided to go for this one. Fantastic! Easy to fit in the car, great that the covers can be washed properly (especially since it will last until ds is 4 yrs of age!), easy to recline from the front. Good price tag too! Feels safe and ds seems very confortable in it.

Overall, a good seat. Feels nice and sturdy and has deep side wings so good side impact protection.
My first child seemed to grow out of it before turning 2. The straps seemed too short and he could only sit upright otherwise his legs would be cramped against the front seat.

We bought 3 different seats for parents' and grandparents' cars and the Eclipse has turned out to give the best balance of features. It can also be taken on the plane for use in hire cars abroad (saving stiff extra charges hiring a local seat with an unknown history). This is because it is tough but portable and can be fitted even just with a lap belt. It has a classy finish, sits my child high enough to look out and has good lateral protection. It's also comfy and cosy and very easily reclines for a better sleep.

Comfy and a reasonable price but it is huge! The sides are big to keep your cild from moving but this can restrict their view out of the window

This seat is "nice and roomy and sits higher than other seats". It's "comfortable" and the reclining seat "easy to operate even from the front seats of the car". The harness was praised for being "secure and easy to use" plus the seat can be fitted with a lap belt as well as a standard lap and diagonal seatbelt and "doesn't have a large base, so doesn't take up the whole of your back seat". One reviewer summed up: "This fits my criteria - safe, easy to install, not too heavy and your child has a good view out of the window".

Good value, quite well priced and last a few years. My only problem i have with my two are the installation, I found them very hard to fit, I have to kneel on it at the back of the seat and struggle to attach the seatbelt securely. I always feel like its not quite safe enough, the seat belt holders are not in very good places, although they appear to do the job. Looks good, and the kids love them, they fight over who gets the newer one.

This is an extremely easy to use, very comfortable car seat. It is good looking, and appears very safe. It is easy to recline whilst the child is seated in it. Covers can be removed for washing.

Comfortable and very safe, not very portable though.

This is a really comfortable, secure car seat. It's not too tricky to fit in the car and feels rock solid once it's in (less so with the lap belt only). It is quite heavy, so you don't want to be moving it around too often, but if you need to wash the covers, the instructions to remove and replace them are pretty foolproof and it dries overnight. The adjustable harness is very secure (but still comfy) and is fairly easy to do up even with a struggling child! The seat is nice and high, so our son can see out of the window easily and is at about the same eye level as us when we turn round, which is quite sociable. The reclining feature means he can sleep easily and comfortably, and it's a doddle to adjust. We also bought the optional headrest and playtray. The headrest is really cosy and snug; the playtray useful for toys, books, drinks etc. Both are easy to remove when you want to. Altogether an excellent buy!

Really nice cover. Suits our requirements as it fits our car and in my husband's Vauxhall Vivaro van..! Value for money was marked down as it had gone up

my two year old hates it, it is not very well cushioned, it is quite hard for his little bottom.

Robust, well presented, comfortable car seat, easy to regulate length of straps, to strap child in and to recline seat even when child is sleeping, giving good head support.

A great, comfortable, easy-to-use seat with two minor drawbacks: 1) the pads over the shoulder straps can't be taken off and therefore can't be washed; 2) the straps need to be longer - it's hard to fasten over a bulky winter coat.

A good looking seat, well constructed, easy to use but a little bulky - a criticsim i would level at all the seats we saw to choose from.

Very handy recline facility - can be opperated by driver, whilst driving. Comfy and roomy. Quite easy to fit once you've got the knack.

Graet car seat, confortable, good looking, and great value for money

A very sturdy and cosy second stage seat.
My baby who had been whingeing in his previous seat was asleep in minutes after we installed this seat
One handed mechanism allows baby to recline or sit upright.
We particulary liked this seat as it was bucket shaped and baby really seems to nestle into it.
Five children - i have experienced a lot of car seats. I always go with britax now and am more than pleased with this
