"Very comfortable looking…"
My child always looks super comfy in this seat, the recline is good for naps. She stayed rear facing until 15 months with no complaints. Very easy to install.Read moreLess
"Well padded, comfy and easy to install but expensive.…"
We decided to buy a ERF car seat now that baby is 10months old and wanted the option of keeping him rear facing as long as possible but also being able to turn him forward when he is bigger. The 2 way pearl gives us this option. It has to be purchased with the 2 way fix base (cannot be belted in) so as a rough price guide this will set you back £375. Not cheap at all. However in comparison to other car seats offering the same options it is within the same price bracket (ish).
The seat comes in a variety of colours and we opted for raspberry red which is nicer in real life compared to the pictures. It also comes with a variety of accessories which we decided to not purchase but others may find useful such as a thiner summer seat cover etc.
Our son looks comfortable in the seat and has slept well and also sat happily and looked out of the window as this seat is much higher than his original car seat (maxi cosi cabrio fix). It has a recline position for when babies are younger and his neck doesn't slump forward when he is asleep.
The harness is well padded and fully adjustable. It fits over his shoulders as well as his waist and keeps him snug.
Pros- well made, easy to install, the harness sits away from seat at all times so you don't have to fumble to tuck it out of the way when you are putting the baby in the seat (look at pictures and you'll see what I mean), well padded, baby seems comfy, recline, 2 way positioning.
Cons: pricey, difficult to put baby in car seat if you have a low roof as car seat has high sides ( we have a volvo v50), not been on the market as long so not as many reviews for well rounded info and does not offer 360 swivel as Britax Dual Fix does.Read moreLess
