"I started using it from 18 months when my toddler…"
I started using it from 18 months when my toddler girl started showing the signs of toilet training.
She really loved the Disney princess design and made her feel special. She was toilet trained within a week but when we are out and about for long journeys she had them on, and she didn't want to pee on them as they would be pulled out!
I use the night time nappies for nights though not these.Read moreLess

excellent. do exactly what they are designed for. absorb all the liquid keeping skin dry. kids can use themselves and the side velcro means that if they do soil, then you can clean up easily.
but do buy them when on offer as can be expensive otherwise.Read moreLess
"These are very easy to use however when it comes…"
These are very easy to use however when it comes to ripping the sides off for changing they can be a bit tough. The sides fit very well and are very stretchy. They also don't seem to be as bulky as the other nappies but I do find that they leave red marks on the skin from the elastic. They have leaked a couple of times which isn't too bad but I have used another brand which have never leaked so it can be a bit annoying. The price is quite reasonable. If I needed to I would buy these again.Read moreLess

"We used these during the day when DS was 2.5…"
We used these during the day when DS was 2.5 - 3yo and not quite ready to be trained. I didn't want to go straight back to nappies after a potty training disaster attempt and so used these and encouraged him to use the toilet as well as he could pull them down himself.
They are fine for during the day but at night we always used nappies after damp beds with pullups.Read moreLess

"We've always used reusable nappies but as soon as ds…"
We've always used reusable nappies but as soon as ds went dry through the day he flatly refused a cloth nappy at night because it made him feel (in his words) cold and wet so we switched to pull ups - ds is a heavy wetter and we found that he would wet straight through all other brands which involved a bed change in the night. Huggies get him through but he's at an age now (2.5 yrs) where once he's wee'd at 5am he wakes up and tells us his stars (on the front of nappy) have disappeared, we have to change him and put him back to bed which can be costly (these nappies are aboutRead moreLess
"When I went into Tesco the other day to buy…"
When I went into Tesco the other day to buy my daughters Feel 'N' Learn pants I was annoyed to find they were out of stock, but I saw a similar product from Huggies, their Pull-Ups range. I switch between Pampers and Huggies nappies anyway so thought I would try these, I was especially swayed by the BOGOF offer so ended up buying two packs and getting two free.
These Pull-Ups are shaped like pants instead of nappies, I've started using them to pre-ept potty training my daughter so that she can get used to wearing something which feels like proper pants. I must admit that straight away I prefer the design of these to those I usually buy in the Pampers range, Huggies have a Disney theme which includes Princesses for the girls and Cars for the boys - although my daughter loves the little boy range as much as the girls' pants because she is mildly obsessed with "car-cars" at the moment.
Even though she's only 18 months, my daughter does understand a lot of what I am saying to her so I explained that the pictures will start to disappear when she does a wee in the hope that she will recognise that the fading of the design is directly related to when she goes to the toilet in the pants. This doesn't really mean anything to her yet as we haven't gotten as far as actually getting her to use a potty, but it's a useful reminder for me because I can see at a glance if she needs her bum changing and can show her that the pictures are slowly fading. The pictures start to disappear almost as soon as the pants are wet, a little too quick in my opinion because my daughter is still drinking from a bottle so tends to wet quite regularly but then again these pants are probably designed for toddlers a little older than her who go longer between wetting so I can't really blame Huggies for that.
My daughter has been comfortable in these pants and can walk, run and climb in them (more's the pity!) with no problems at all. The leg and waist holes are snug against her skin but there is a good amount of stretch in them which means that baby can move around in comfort without any chaffing or rubbing.
I find these Huggies pants much more absorbant than the Pampers Feel 'N' Learn which are my usual potty training pants for my little girl, this means I can leave her almost as long between changes as I would if she were wearing ordinary nappies. I find they are not great at holding 'number twos' but these pants will cope well for a couple of hours if she has simply wet.
The only problem I can find with these is that the side seams which you have to rip apart to change your little one are a bit too easy to pull apart, my daughter learned very quickly how to open them so I find she has to wear these under her tights or a pair of trousers if she's in one of 'those moods' otherwise the pants are pulled off straight away and once the tab has been ripped then the nappy is useless so I try not to let her destroy too many as these are quite expensive at overRead moreLess

My little girls love the princess pictures on these. The sides can come apart and stick back together so easy to get on and off in a rush to the loo!
On a couple of occasions the cut around the legs has been a bit wonky and we have been unable to use them, but that is only twice in the 2 years (2 different children) that we have been using them.Read moreLess
"What I like about these are the patterns that fade…"
What I like about these are the patterns that fade so you can see at a glance whether your child has had a wee - no need to take them off to check. My daughter loved the princess pictures too. Another really handy thing is the sides that you can split open and reclose - really handy when I needed to change my daughter's pull up and she was wearing tights - didn't have to take the shoes and tights off, just ripped off the old pull up, split the sides on the new one and closed them back up again when the pull up was on her. Not always absorbent enough for night though and not cheap.Read moreLess

To be honest, not very impressed... Quite expensive with very few to a pack and had leaks throughout the day and night with them. Tried them for the novelty for my daughter but I'll be sticking with shops own brand in future.. Disappointing as a swore by Huggies for all other nappies until now....Read moreLess

I would say that these were very expensive for the small packs they come in. Out of one small pack 2 tore whilst i was pulling these up on my son. Fair enough, you could say 1 would be one of those things but for 2 to rip. not buying these again, stick to tesco nappies. far better valueRead moreLess

All agreed "pull-ups make potty training easy" though, "as they're expensive I'd say don't start using them until your child is only having the occasional accident, or you'll end up going through them as fast as ordinary nappies". They are "marvellous when your child becomes mobile and more independent" and "very easy to get on and off". However "when there's a 'number two' around changing can be a tricky business". The consensus is that they are "worth the extra" because they "do exactly what they are designed for".Read moreLess
