Its a really nice slim fitting nappy, i got a few in my free nappy trial kit and is ultra absorbant and the sleatchy leg and back elastic help spot poo explosions! although i have chosen to opt for the itti bitti tutto the birth to potty as opposed to these sized nappys!
the naps are nice and crisp and works well for stoping little fingers from opening the nappy! although ther are one of the more expencive nappys out there its worth it and along with buying some extra soakers/boosters as they do take a while to dryRead moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

"I bought a half a dozen of these, and extra…"
16-Nov-2011
I bought a half a dozen of these, and extra snap in pads. If you buy the extra snap-in pads, it makes the whole system a bit more economical.
I stopped using them at one stage when they leaked all the time, then figured out that I wasn't doing them up tightly enough. You have to realise they are supposed to sit low around the hips and be pretty tight around the thighs.
Positives: very cute, neatly fitted so good under baby clothes, the clever pads are very dry next to baby's skin even when they're soaking wet, very leak-proof if you do them up tightly enough. But the biggest positive for me is that they really are poonami-proof. My DS in the early months produced one enormous liquid poo-bomb every four days, which the itti-bitti totally dealt with. Gone the days of wiping poo off the back of DS's neck. I've been known to snap one on over the top of a disposable for a long car trip.
Negatives - leaking at the legs if you don't tighten them up lots or if your LO has skinny little legs. Costly. Red marks on baby's little thighs, although they don't seem to be uncomfortable.Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

"I think these nappies are great - I've been using…"
15-Apr-2011
I think these nappies are great - I've been using them for 2 months now on my DS. He's still in small size at 4 months even though he's a big baby.
We only started using them at 2 months because prior to that they didn't fit as well around the legs (I've since learnt how to adjust them properly around the legs) and also he was still pooing rather frequently as BF babies can do, which in my tired state was a bit too much to deal with back then!
The layer next to baby's skin stays remarkably dry - in fact you have to feel the bamboo bit underneath to see if it's wet. That being said, we don't use them at night and you do have to change them more frequently than disposables, but I think that's the same for all reuseables.
They look adorable and are very easy to take care of. The fact that you can replace the inserts if the minky outer is still dry is great. They also have a good resale value.Read moreLessMumsnetter pregninja

I think these are great. However I didn't start using them till my son was about 7 months and had solid poos - i think early poos would escape far too easily. They are quite expensive but you can buy extra inserts as you don't need to change the cover every time, and i was able to move straight onto the large size as my son was pretty chubby. They look great and my son is very happy wearing them.

"I trialed five different nappy brands using Babykind's trial service…"
27-Jan-2011
I trialed five different nappy brands using Babykind's trial service for my newborn. I've reviewed them all here though my marks are for the Itti Bitti. The brands were Fuzzi Bunz (XS), Weehuggers (Size 1), Itti Bitti D'Lish (Small), Real Easy(V2, XS) from Hip Hip Baby and Tots Bots Teenyfit. I also tried Little Lambs Microterry(Size 1) at the same time. After trialing all of these for just over two weeks I bought five each of Fuzzi Bunz (S), Real Easy (S) and Little Lambs (Size 1). Having used these for a few months I really couldn't choose between Fuzzi Bunz and Real Easy as my favourites - they are both excellent.
Fuzzi Bunz
Good value, fits really well with poppers around the waist and legs, dries in no time, easy to use, keeps wet away from baby's skin. May need an extra booster for overnight or heavy wetters.
Real Easy (Hip Hip Baby)
Good value, fits really well, very absorbant, easy to use, keeps wet away from baby's skin. Compared to a standard Fuzzi Bunz (e.g. one without an extra booster), it takes longer to dry but is more absorbant.
Little Lambs
Good value, very soft and comfy, flexible fitting and very absorbant. The whole nappy gets wet so does tend to stay near to baby's skin, the velcro sticks to things in the wash even if you use the tabs and the nappy is BIG (in hindsight, probably wouldn't have bought this for a small baby but they're so soft we couldn't resist).
Tots Bots Teenyfit
We loved this nappy and would have bought some but after the Teenyfit you buy the EasyFit which is a one-size nappy (e.g. it poppers down for smaller babies and is released as they grow). This is a cheaper option in the long run because you don't need to buy multiple nappies as your baby grows, but we felt that this type of nappy was too bulky on a small baby.
Itti Bitti D'lish
Very funky nappy in great colours and very absorbant for wee. However, they are expensive and poo shot out of the leg holes every time.
Weehuggers
Didn't like these at all, they were absorbant enough but were very rigid, not particularly easy to use or quick to dry and the width of the nappy between the legs was too wide.Read moreLessMumsnetter morj

10-Nov-2010
Once we were using the right size we didn't have any leaking problems, but it can be tempting to use a size too big. There is a really good video on youtube which shows how to fit them. I loved that they are so adjustable with poppers and extra lining if you need it. I also loved the colour choices and that they wash so well and still look new. They dry really quickly too as they come apart. They are quite pricey but they hold their value 2nd hand so I think they're worth shelling out for.

18-Aug-2010
tried these on my DD - they are absolutely gorgeously soft and cute. Unfortunately they do not perform as well as my bambinex bamboos and motherease wraps. The pee does seep through, despite having a "waterproof" outer, and the inserts get very soggy. Bought 3 but will not be buying any more. 10 out of 10 for looks and cute factor. 4 out of 10 for practicality

"My favorite nappy ever, the nappy has a waterproof shell…"
07-Mar-2009
My favorite nappy ever, the nappy has a waterproof shell and 2 bamboo snap in inserts, so if it has only been wet you can remove the wet inserts and re-use the outer with fresh inserts. The nappy isn't bulky at all, the colours and bright and vibrant. The fabric is strokeable (if that is even a word!)The only downside to these nappies is trying to decide which colours to go for!
