"Had a couple of these because couldnt resist the price-"
20-Feb-2011
Had a couple of these because couldnt resist the price- but wish I had!
The PUL on 1 of them was faulty right from the start and the nappy leaked everywhere, had to throw it away!
Then the PUL on the other 2 started to get cracked and so they leaked too.
My recommendation is pay that little bit extra for a higher quality nappyRead moreLessMumsnetter mummynutter

"Naughty Baby nappies (what a name!) have a waterproof outer"
24-Apr-2010
Naughty Baby nappies (what a name!) have a waterproof outer layer stitched to a fleece liner, which you then stuff with booster pads to suit your needs. They have a popper system to make the nappy bigger for older babies, and velcro fastening at the waist which can go very small for tiny babies as well as allowing plenty of room for adjustment as your baby gets bigger.
They are far cheaper than their popular equivalents, but work just as well, with the added advantage that the top fastening is velcro and so can be adjusted to any size.
The nappies come in a variety of bright colours and two booster pads are included with each, making them suitable for wearing over-night as they can absorb so much. Of course you could stuff the pocket with anything and add extra booster pads if necessary, making the nappies very flexible. The fabric stays soft whether you line-dry or tumble the nappies, and allows the baby to move easily as the padding is not too thick and bulky.
The inside of the nappy is made of soft fleece, which is brilliant at keeping the skin dry. My daughter has not had nappy rash since we started using these nappies; with cotton prefolds and disposables it seemed to develop very quickly.
The pocket part of the nappy dries very quickly (overnight on the clothes airer), the inserts take a little longer as they are multiple layers of fabric stitched together.
My daughter is breast-fed, and so far (!) we have not had any leaks, even with explosive poos saved up for days. She has quite chubby legs though; my sister has found that the nappies don't fit closely enough on her slimmer baby.
I wash the nappies at 40 degrees C (a little hotter than the instructions say) and this usually gets them clean; we have occasionally found that not all the poo comes out of the elasticated leg cuffs where the fabric gets bunched up. Like the TotBots nappies, there is a genius velcro fastening on each side that you fold over to prevent the velcro sticking to everything in the wash/ getting full of fluff. You can throw the nappies in the machine without having to take out the boosters, as they come out themselves during the cycle; this saves time and the yuckiness of fiddling about with dirty nappies!
I have been using these nappies for a month now (my daughter is 3 months old) and would recommend them to anyone.Read moreLess3 people found this review helpful.
