"Rubbish…"
17-Mar-2013
This was my first effort at washables and I opted for this one as it seemed easy to understand in my sleep deprived state. I later read reviews which slated them and I'm afraid I also lost confidence in them pretty quickly. Lots of leaks (even as a new born). I got the newborn and the next size up as DD was big for her age, but problems continued so I moved onto Totsbots pretty quickly and have been using them since (inc w DS).

Fab nappy. Wash well and more absorbent than other pre-folds that I've tried. Also dry super-quick so.

A good cheap nappy.
1. dries quickly, much quicker than shaped bamboo nappies and normal-style prefolds that I trialled
2. isn't quite absorbant enought, but I boost using either the newborn size nappy or else microfibre cloths folded up.
3. I use them with Nature Babies popper nappies and have had no leaks
4. did I mention cheap??! OnlyRead moreLess2 people found this review helpful.

This is our main nappy system, supplemented with a few others. I really like them, they are very easy to use, as easy as a disposable, which DP is happy about.
The absorbent microfibre cloth part of the nappy fits like a hammock in the reusable outer wrap. We use fleece liners. The outer can be used many times. They are very quick to dry. Cost wise, they are very reasonable compared to other systems. They also sell a disposable eco friendly pad which we have as back up when out and about. All in all, a good reliable nappy.Read moreLess2 people found this review helpful.

Love this nappy. Its absorbent, easy to use so DP happy, washes and dries well and DD seems happy in them so can assume she is comfortable. They are also slim fitting under clothes. Cost wise they compare very well. You can buy disposable pads which would be useful for when out and about but I have not tried them. All in all a very good buy.

Easy to use, absorbent, no leaks, quick drying, slim fitting under clothes, can be used with a disposable pad for when you are out and about, and cheaper than the rest. I have tried out quite a few and these are the best.

"This is mothercare's own brand reusable nappy and it's not…"
25-Mar-2009
This is mothercare's own brand reusable nappy and it's not a bad system with inner absorbant pads and an outer wrap. The idea is that if the nappy is only wet you can just wash the pad and reuse the outer wrap with a new pad.
I do mostly do this, though I tend to not reuse the wrap immediately as does tend to feel slightly damp and after a while they can smell a bit uriney as they do come into contact with the urine more than say a wrap on other nappies.
I find the biggest advantage is that when you wash them the outers dry incredibly quickly and you tend to have some dry pads already so don't need to wait for them to dry. Although they do dry incredibly quickly anyway. They are sized which means you need to buy more, though I had a big baby so never needed small ones anyway, but the fit is very good and they are cheaper than many reusable nappies.
We did have a few capacity issues so used a bit of a another nappy as a booster. So not perfect, but good value for money and simple to use. Sorry this is a bit long.Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

The smart nappy consists of a waterproof nappy outer that holds a special pad [which is folded] inside.
It is extremely slim fitting and contains the explosive poo on my breastfed baby.
It is really economical at around forty pounds for eight pads and four outers in a handy bag.
It is great as you don't need to change the outer every time unlike pocket nappies.
It dries in about two hours line dry and is very durable. The only downside is that it is only in white.Read moreLess3 people found this review helpful.
