I love Fuzzi Bunz. They're really easy to use, you can stuff them to suit your baby and how much they wet; I could get away with one microfibre insert as a newborn but did have to use another additional one as they got older and wet more. I used a more absorbent nappy for night times, as well. If you're not keen on the 'scraping' of poo into the toilet a lot of companies sell flushable eco liners which you can just dispose of and help protect the nappy liner from a lot of stains.
They aren't entirely 'bombproof'; but what nappy is? I've used disposables over the years and all the brands fail to contain the odd poop explosion on occasion - it's just part of nappy changing unfortunately.Read moreLessMumsnetter CaptainHetty

I think these are brilliant. I use the one size, they're not too bulky and keep dd's bottom dry. Lovely colours and really easy to use.
The outer part is quick to dry so I've got extra inserts to keep me going.Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

We have the perfect size in a small. Very nice slim-fitting nappy. They are easy to use and very quick-drying. They come with one microfibre insert but this alone isn't always enough absorbency. To be on the safe side I never leave it on longer than a couple of hours. Unfortunately we did have a few poo leaks around the legs and up the back too early on but on the whole I still like this nappy. It is very comfortable fitting with a lovely fleece inner which keeps his skin feeling dry.

Its been 2 years since we stopped needing nappies in our house, and I still miss the fuzzi bunz! They come in great colours, they're really soft, easy to use, as leakproof as any other nappy I've tried. Although I did have to double up on liners sometimes. And I got almost all my money back when I sold them after ds2 was potty trained!

These feel so soft and lovely and are very good at containment. I found the poppers a little tricky only in that there's a lot of choice and sometimes I popper them up a bit crooked cos I forget which one I'm supposed to use. I'd like it if they'd come with a booster as well as the insert but I'm just being picky. A good nappy and very reliable.

I love these nappies. I was nervous about making the leap from disposables, and my husband was extremely sceptical, but we both think they are fantastic. They definitely improved with time too. Had a couple of 'wee' leaks in the early days, but within 2 weeks of using them, we are leak free and changing every 3 to 4 hours. Can't recommend them highly enough!

25-Mar-2008
we love fuzzis. the multiple studs make getting a good fit on my chunky thighed DD really easy. We use the fuzzibunz microfibre inserts which are very slim but absorbant, and can get around three to four hours out of each nappy with no leaks.
these dry amazingly well. I wash them in the evening and put them on radiator drying racks or the airing cupboard overnight and they are ready for use in the morning.
the inserts take a bit longer so it's wise to have more inserts than you have outers. They are quite expensive, but we only have 12 pocket nappies and wash every other day so your initial outlay isn't that huge.
The downside is that you need different sizes over the time you use the nappies, but the medium are supposed to be good from around 6mo to 3 years.
the poppers can phase DHs and inlaws though!Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

i love my fuzzi bunz nappies. i have used them on my daughter since she was a couple of months old and continue to use them now she's over 1. they are as easy to use as disp nappies with popper fasteners and self contained wrap. great for nursery use. quick and slim fitting. the only down side is that not all babies can use them as your baby has to have fatter theighs. also the microfibre cloth included isn't enough for a 4 hour stint. i would suggest stuffing them with an ellas house hemp booster.

A lovely soft nappy in a range of coulour and desings (we love the pink gingham flowers) and can be stuffed with a variety of inserts to get the best option for your baby. We found that the small wicked at the legs when our baby was little, even on the smallest popper setting, but it's much better now she has filled out and is a few months older.
good for going out and about and leaving with the PILs as it can be pre-stuffed so is like an all-in-one.Read moreLessMumsnetter daisyandbabybootoo

Reviewers were unanimous that this is "a lovely, soft and comfortable fleece nappy". It has a stuffable shell which makes it "great for night time - no leaks". "The fleece is great for drawing wetness away from the body and so act like a disposable". The nappies are "really easy to use". What's more they "wash superbly" and are "incredibly quick drying". "The fit is nice and slim", "the poppers are adjustable which means you can do it up according to your babies size". Though it's "not cheapest washable option", the nappies have "excellent second hand value".

07-Jan-2007
Fuzzi's are great, my hubby wasn't too keen on scraping poo into the loo at first but you get used to that! My DD never had nappy rash and I love the soft fleece next to her skin. My only problem with them was after 1st 3 months when DD started to drink more water, they started to leak. I had to put more inserts in which made the nappy too bulky (I used hemparoo inserts which are very absorbant- but I believe you can buy slimmer inserts). So easy to wash. Just put on a rinse & spin cycle to get the initial mess out, then wash with the rest of babies/your clothes. They more difficult to dry if you don't have a tumble dryer. I dried mine overnight in the airing cupboard - but I did feel that my life revolved around drying nappies, so get a tumble dryer. I stopped using fuzzi's 1 month ago and I really wish I had stuck with them now and bought a tumble dryer. I hate using papery, plasticky disposable nappies and I can't believe how much rubbish they create. You spend alot on fuzzi's initially but in the long run you save a fortune.

Quite expensive but well worth it. They are a stuffable system, featuring a waterproof soft outer and fleece inner. You buy separate microfibre pads or stuff with terries. They wash very well in with other items and look very neat under clothes. The fleece is great for drawing wetness away from the body and so act like a disposable. They come in three basic sizes but have lots of poppers around the leg and waist so fit very well. Really easy to put on and take off. The colours are really nice.

Really soft on your little one's bot as fleece lined. This means solids don't stick and wetness doesn't stay nest to the skin. They are stufable, so you can change the amount of absorbancy of the nappy to suit your child or the time of day it is. I have found that I get the occasional leak - but usually as the stuffing isn't quite positioned right. I bought my nappies online from the USA and because of the strong pound at the moment it worked out really cheap and I got free inserts - bargain!

I have these nappies in petite. The colours are lovely. I found that just using one micro-insert wasn't enough and they started to leak, instead of giving up on them I boosted them with a hemp insert as they are slim but absorbent, and so far, no more leaks. This has made them slightly more expensive than I would have liked though.
The only problem I find is that they seem to be quite tight around the hips to get a snug fit around the legs but DD doesn't seem to mind.
I find these nappies are really quick and easy to use as there is only one layer to put on.Read moreLess"Fuzzi's are the cloth version of a disposable. Just as…"

I have experimented with various cloth nappies, and the main problem I found that was as my son is such a heavy wetter I found I needed to change them almost hourly. Fuzzi Bunz have a lovely soft fleece liner which keeps the baby dry, and even with two absorbent pads in the pocket they are still nice and trim. As there is only one component they are very easy to put on - great for a wriggly toddler. They are quite pricey, but worth it, as and they dry so fast you need less anyway.

A great simple nappy to use. Basically you just stuff it with something absorbant, such as a prefold or a terry nappy, then fasten nappy on child. Because the nappy is made of two parts it is easy to launder and dry - the Fuzzibunz dries really quickly and you can open up whatever you used to stuff it which will also then dry quickly. The Fuzzibunz fastens with poppers which take slightly longer than velcro but are a lot harder for children to undo, thus making it harder for them to take off themselves which can be invaluable.
All in all a great nappy.Read moreLess"We love these. They are so easy to use, just…"

As they are a pocket nappy, they can be stuffed with a variety of materials (I use microfibre clothes). They are not really absorbant enough for nighttime use but are great for going out in as they have a fleece lining which is really comfortable. The only downside is they are quite expensive but you can make some savings on auction sites.
