"A bit bulky but very reliable…"
07-Feb-2013
I use these with my four and a hslf month old son and have been getting on really well with them. We didn't start straight away as they would have swamped ds as a newborn and we didn't want the extra work of reusables at that stage anyway. I think we started using them from a month or so in.
I like these nappies a lot. I don't have experience with other reusables and I know these aren't the slimmest ones on the market but it hasn't been a problem for us. Ds seems comfy and happy in them. I like the fact that the inner part is fleece as it stays very soft, something which is particularly important for us as we live in a hard water area. We haven't had any leaks either, even at night although I think a lot of that is due to using good wraps (popolini or motherease at night - excellent containment - and blueberry coveralls during the day which are also good with lovely designs but they don't last the night).
I like the fact that bumbles are a birth to potty nappy as it has been very economical for us so far and they are very clever in the way they adjust.
I don't find them difficult to put on - not quite as simple as a disposable and takes a little bit longer to position them correctly, put on the nappy nippa and then do the wrap but not bad at all really.
I recommend these nappies.Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

"Simple and great value for money…"
30-May-2012
I have used these for my DS and plan to use them for DD when she arrives. They were the cheapest nappy availble when I bought them and as they fit from birth to potty they have been excellent value for money. They dry quickly but every now and then need finishing off in the tumle drier to stay fluffy. They are very easy to use and easy to fit with the nappy nippa. The only thing I would say is they are little bulky for a newborn if you have a smaller baby, so you may need an alternative for the first few weeks.

13-Jan-2011
Comments from other Mumsnetters:
These are "the ultimate in comfort nappies as they have an entire fleece layer against the skin, making the nappy "stay dry". They are "super soft and snuggly" and with the terry boosters, they're "ultra absorbent, so a great night-time/travel nappy". "The clever pocketed design means stuffing can be added to increase absorbency, or taken out to aid quick drying". Reviewers found them "so easy to use" and "very adjustable with elasticated sides". All in all a "very versatile nappy with brilliant performance and a great price" plus they "look good too".Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

"Bumbles have been absolutely brilliant for us so far -…"
03-Dec-2010
Bumbles have been absolutely brilliant for us so far - really soft fleece liner, great absorbency with pocket stuffing ability, stretchy to fit my extremely tall baby and not bad on drying time. Price isn't bad either. Still getting a bit of leakage at nighttime with a very heavy wetter, but only using a cotton outer/PUL wrap so probably need more experimenting.

30-Jul-2010
I LOVE our bumbles! They wash well, dry well, have the cute terry-bottomed look, have NEVER leaked, don't need a separate liner thanks to the wonderful fleecy inside - what more can I say. Oh yes, they're a reasonable price new (and even better secondhand) and seem (so far) to last well. I only wish I'd know of the ECO-bumble before I bought my stash of bumbles...Very cheap nappies that dry in a flash and can be stuffed to suit with any old cloth but with all the other wonderful features of the bumble....

25-Feb-2010
This has to be the best "birth to potty" option on the market. Removable booster and popper system make it really neat for a small baby, but also really easy to boost up for an older baby. Currently have my 2 year old and 6 month old in these and they fit both children well. However they are the a bit the worse for wear, and definitely wouldn't last another child.

Great that the booster layer flaps out for speedier drying, never had any leaks. Getting on well with the nippa fastening. Used with a Motherease airflow wrap and Popli liners i think this is a great nappy. Not very good for tummy time crawling efforts though - in this area disposables are better as they're lighter and a slimmer fit but what i do is allow some nappy-free tummy time before a bath.

These nappies are fantastic!! Their absorbency is great and with the booster pad they last all night. They seem to be comfy, they are quick to dry, and the nappi nippa means that the fit is always perfect.

These are the only nappies ds has worn that (used with a Motherease Airflow wrap) have managed to contain everything without leaking, very reliably. Boosters neatly popper inside though I have only found them necessary overnight. They are quite fast drying, and ds seems very comfortable in them - lovely soft fleece inside.

"The best nappy we have tried for nightimes & long…"
11-Oct-2007
The best nappy we have tried for nightimes & long journeys, we have never had a leak yet.
Bumbles are quick and easy to put on and the fleece stays dry next to my little ones skin even after being on all night.
My son is a heavy wetter so the snap in liners that come with the nappy are perfect for containing his power wees!
These fitted my skinny son well in the early days using the poppers inside the nappy to turn it into a neat newborn nappy.
I find that they wash well and dry fairly quickly on an airer as I don't use the tumble dryer too often.
We think these are great value for money and have recommended them to several friends to try.Read moreLessMumsnetter ejayjay

These are great! They're very absorbent and easy to put on. They work very well; similar to Tots Bots but I prefer the lining on the Bumbles as the whole inside is fleece so is more comfortable for the baby. Also, the Bumbles seem to be longer in the gusset area which means they cover my little ones bottom really well and there's no chance of him having "builder's bum". Unfortunately they don't dry super fast but I suppose that's what happens when you have elasticated parts, although having a removable insert helps with the drying time. I also think it's a good idea that they're suitable from birth - I just wish I'd found them earlier!

02-Aug-2007
Nice and soft against baby's skin the fleece inside keeps bottoms as dry as possible. What I really like about this nappy is that it's foolproof for night time changes - you can get it ready in the evening stuffed with the booster (and anything else you want to add if you have a heavy wetter) and in the semi-dark it all stays together unlike nappies where the booster is flapping around/dropped on the floor etc. As easy as a disposable for night time use.

I love these nappies!
They have a lovely fleece inner which stays all soft and snuggly, and have really stretchy soft elastication to give a good fit whether big or small.
One of my most loved nappies, great containment and fits from diddy ones to toddlers with nippas.
Oh, and its cheap compared to most others!Read moreLessMumsnetter FlameParakeet
