"Excellent quality, stylish and built to last…"
I love my Silver Cross Nostalgia furniture! Its stylish and the quality is amazing, solid and built to last.

The cot bed has teething rails along each side and looks great both as a cot and as a bed. The storage drawer holds a lot and the bed transfers easily from a cot with different levels to a childs bed so it will be suitable for a good few years.

We got the Silver Cross Posturestart Care and Protect Plus mattress to go in it as we felt it was the most important item in terms of safety in the nursery and we're definitely happy about this now that baby is here. This mattress had the best support, offering two different levels of firmness, one side for new-borns and one side for post when baby is post 18 months. It was also the best for hygiene blocking 100% of bacteria, viruses, mould etc and has a removable, washable cover - expensive but worth it.

The Nostalgia dresser looks great and the drawers have a soft close feature so don’t make a noise. They are also big enough to hold everything I needed. The changing unit detaches so it can be used as a normal chest of drawers too when we're no longer doing changes on it.

As we purchased two items of the furniture, the items for delivered and assembled for us so there was no flat pack stress - happy days when I was pregnant and tired! The team putting it together were very helpful, they took their shoes off before coming in without being asked and they tried out the furniture in different positions in the room to see what worked best. They even hoovered up after themselves!

Highly recommended.Read moreLess
"Exceedingly poor quality throughout this range of furniture…"
I had always been brought up associating Silver Cross with quality so i thought very little of purchasing two cots sets for my twins whilst pregnant despite the cost. I was assured that the cots would turn into beds and see them through until they were around 4 years old. Well I am afraid to report that is not the case. The drawers on the cots (each of them) broke within the first month of use and within six months a large crack appeared the frame of one of the cots. I should also mention within three months a similar crack had appeared on the changing table. I have moved house and lowered the slats to make the cots safer for the twins as they grew up (which is made frustratingly difficult by an inadequate shaped alan key to say the least) . However, now some of the screws have lost their thread and I am not able to take the cots apart again to turn them into beds without literally sawing the screws out. I would say this is down to poor quality materials. In short if you are looking for quality furniture that will see you babies through to toddlers and beyond look elsewhere. If you don't mind paying a heavy price for a cot that will only last you a year, the you may wish to consider this.Read moreLess
"Expensive but poor quality…"
Reportedly made in Indonesia this range is not the quality I expected. We are on our third wardrobe and had to have various other parts of the dresser and cot replaced due to dents, cracks in the paint and paint wearing off even though hardly used as my daughter is still in a moses basket in our room. All in all sadly dissapointed :-(Read moreLess

Beautiful cotbed. Not cheap by any means but you can tell it's quality. Gorgeous looks, solid and made up by Silver Cross if you buy another piece from the range. Highly recommended.Read moreLess
