Ikea MINNEN extendable bed

Great and sweet bed for little ones but the mattress (with add on end bits as you expand the bed) is a bit flimsy and watch out for banged knees and elbows on those metal sides - yours and theirs!

Easily put together by me and 2 year old DS(!). Instructions are easy to follow and it's low height is excellent as you don't have to worry about them falling out. About to be passed on to DD (DS is now 4) and it is still in great shape, despite much bouncing! The foam mattress it comes with looks insubstantial but is actually very comfortable and have never had any complaints! The fact that it extends is excellent as it's not overwhelming when they first move in from their cot.

A lovely bedframe, easy to assemble, very sturdy and my 3 year old daughter loves it.

Such a cute bed for a little girl. We put our 21 mth daughter in it and she loves it and has slept in it from day one and hasnt fallen out due to the raised sides. A great buy. With the money you save on the frame you can splash out on the Sultan mattress.

A really pretty and great value bed. Fully researched my daughter's first bed on the internet and this seemed the most reasonable and the white metal is great for most colour schemes. She has slept through immediately which says it all!

This bed is fantastic as it grows as your child grows. My daughter loves it. It looks so pretty and also comes in two colours black/brown or white which is great.
