"Solid well made comfortable beds…"
We bought the L shaped bunk beds about ten years ago. Two international moves and four house moves later and they are still going strong. Currently we have one set up as a high sleeper for ds (he is over 6ft but still quite comfortable), with the other mattress as a sort of den underneath. They were expensive but the much cheaper Ikea bunks we tried broke within a year, so I think these are pretty good value.Read moreLess
"As the name implies, this range is really flexible…"
We have used four of these beds for about 10 years now. During this time they have retained their good looks and been moved about quite a bit as the kids have grown, swapped rooms around etc.
They've been used as separate single beds, bunk beds and high beds, and we've also go a couple of the occasional use beds that fit snugly under the main beds. They're not used very often but are very easy to get out when we do need them, and are also easy to move from one room to another if that's where the sleepover is!
Overall although a bit pricey, they are great quality, don't date, the kids don't grow out of them and they have allowed us to meet our needs for kids' rooms and guests for ten years already, with no sign that they won't continue to give good service well into the future.Read moreLess
"really good system…"
Just bought an add on to my Flexa system we bought 6 years ago - made the bed into a high bed so we can put a desk under the bed for our 10 year old - really good system, really helpful person on the phone.
Items arrived about 5 weeks later - there was some damage to one of the legs but after phoning them they sorted it out and I got a replacement part 2 weeks later.
The bed is up and my daughter loves it - I like the fact that we can change the bed to a different height if we want to and its very sturdy and safe.Read moreLess
"Great bed lousy customer service…"
It took several phone calls to chase delivery and then when one of the parts was faulty it took weeks of chasing. They never answer their Chelmsford customer service telephone number and screen all the calls through the answerphone. They openly admitted their warehouse staff are poor at contacting the customer. I regret my choice to buy a bed from them.Read moreLess

"Having spent quite some time looking a various beds we…"
Having spent quite some time looking a various beds we have decided to go with the Flexa modular system, starting with the Nelly bed. This is a single bed that can adapted at a later date to a bunk bed or a midsleeper/cabin.
The reason we chose Flexa is... because I hear continual positve feedback from people who have their beds, the sheer excellent quality, the look (they have a classy but modern and fresh appearance, no unpleasant shine on their clear laquer,) and have such fab accessories too.
All in all a product built to last and last, but which looks good also! If you can stretch to a Flexa, I say go-for-it!!!Read moreLess
"All of our three children have Flexa beds. Granted -…"
All of our three children have Flexa beds. Granted - Flexa beds aren't cheap, but they are extremely sturdy and retain their good looks for many, many years. Their modular design mean that the bed should last your child from toddlerhood to adolescence as you can add and take away a multitude of components and customise it to your child's requirements.
The slatted bed base is properly sprung - not feature commonly found in children's beds, and the Flexa mattresses are excellent too with a very long life span, although a standard single mattress will also fit fine.
Certain online retailers frequently have special offers on complete Flexa beds - keep an eye out for those, there's no need to pay full price!Read moreLess
