08-Dec-2010
I really like these wipes, cheap and cheerful but do the job. Only comment I'd make is that they're thinner than more expensive ones but not really an issue for wiping bums and mouths (not with the same wipe...).

I love these wipes! They are a really good price and often on promotion at Tesocs so they work out even cheaper! They are lovely and soft, have a very delicate fragrance and have never irritated my sons skin. Im really pleased with them.

Buy in bulk - you get though them quickly! good value - we use unscented ones which do the job & have never caused and reactions/rashes also very good for cleaning computers & cookers?! Useful design with lid better than peelback ones.

"I thought these were awful. My baby is 8 months…"
01-Sep-2008
I thought these were awful. My baby is 8 months now and had never had nappy rash until we started using these. We had been using Johnsons Baby Extracare wipes but they are pretty expensive. We just got a nanny and she was using SO many of them that I decided to move to the Tesco ones.
They are a great price- 80 wipes for just over a pound- but they don't leave the same moisturising residue as the Johnsons ones. Our baby had a very red sore bottom after a day. I tried again after it his bottom was better in case it wasn't the wipes, but same result.
They also don't seem to pick the poo up as well.
This is definitely a false economy!Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

Best and cheapest wipes I have used. Prefer the extra moisture of these as they help to removed any stuck on poo. The unperfumed are excellent and don't smell at all. Big buy packs of 4x72 are great value and keep you going for quite a while.

Great product and good value. We use non-scented ones and they're great for my son even when his teething nappies leave him a little sore.

great value for money - they dispense well from the packet and are nice and soft. Maybe a little 'wetter' than they need to be but it means that if you keep them for a while they don't dry out! Just as good, an in some cases better than, more expensive brands.

Prefer the un-scented ones. They are dead cheap (so ideal when you have to use loads to clean up after a particularly messy nappy!) and gentle enough to us on my son who tends to get excema.

12-Feb-2008
I am very very picky about baby wipes. I hate scented ones, and many non-scented still appear to have hideous smells to me. Tesco unscented don't though.
I like them for the lack of scent, they are the least likely of the store's own brands to be too soggy/too dry, or to come out in clumps of 5.
Ooh, and they have a proper resealable lid!Read moreLessMumsnetter Flamesparrow

I don't overly like the non-scented version but the scented ones in the green packet are really good if you are on a budget (which, after the initial high of having our first baby we quickly realised we had to be on!) These are really good the smell isn't too bad and they do the job, they have a plastic snap top rather than the annoying plastic thingy ala Pampers, and at
