"Don't waste money on Respisense…"
I bought 2 Respisense Dittos as I have twins. 1 failed in less than 6 months, sent to Roger Armstrong. Terrible service, put new battery in and said it was fine (this took 6 weeks so bought Snuza Hero to use in meantime). Snuza Hero works great, stays clipped on and rarely goes off unless unclipped. Respisense goes off ALL the time especially at 2am just when they have finally gone to sleep. Have bought another Snuza Hero as don't trust Respisense anymore with my precious bundles. Have wasted $250 on 2 Respisense Dittos and won't sell them as couldn't do that in good conscience. Don't waste your money on Respisense. Buy a Snuza Hero instead, much better product.Read moreLess

"If you're waking up multiple times a night to check…"
If you're waking up multiple times a night to check lo is still breathing and interupting your already precious sleep, do yourself a favour and get this monitor. It's gives peace of mind and is like having an extra pair of ears in the room. As soon as I started using it I slept much better
1)I find it difficult to tell if it's switched on and there have been some instances where have thought I've turned it on and heard the start up tone only to switch it off in the morning to find it wasn't on! + I'm fairly tech savvy - perhaps it's baby brain
2) It does tend to move around the waist band at night and fall off, causing the alarm to sound. This generally happens when the nappy is full - so it acts as a full nappy alarm too ;-)But none the less it's disturbing, however lo has never woken up
1)It's obviously portable, so can use when in pram / car seat....
2) Alarm isn't loud enough to wake baby
3)PEACE OF MIND!!
Hope this helpsRead moreLess
"As an anxious mum of a PFB, this has really…"
As an anxious mum of a PFB, this has really helped give me peace of mind - especially as my LO is happier sleeping on her side.
Because it tucks into the waistband of her nappy, she can wear it pretty much anywhere she sleeps (apart from in the sling when she is against my body and my own body movements would be picked up by the sensor).
There are only two slight drawbacks as far as I can see - one is that there is no sound monitor, so you'd need to get one separately if you want to hear if your baby wakes up when you are out of earshot. The other is that it can be a bit tricky to fit the monitor onto the waistband of washable nappies because of their greater thickness. That said, the few times the monitor has been pushed off the waistband, it has continued to sit on the baby's body, so still works fine.
The tummy tickle feature is good - a nice way to gently stir the baby into breathing if she's stopped for 15 secs without the need for an alarm. The couple of times it's been activated with my DD, it hasn't woken her up, but encouraged her to take a breath with no stress. Likewise the one time the alarm went off, it also encouraged DD to breathe before I had to intervene and likewise did not disturb her (although I heard it just fine - but because it isn't too loud and piercing, it wasn't a big shock. And the alarm switched off the moment she took a breath, which was an instant later).
Overall, I would highly recommend this product to all neurotic new parents!Read moreLess

"Essential kit for worried parents. This is the best movement…"
Essential kit for worried parents. This is the best movement sensor on the market. My husband is a tech geek and researched all of the other products for hours. The others use sensor pads which are useless for prams and car seats but this clips onto the nappy and monitors your babies breathing. It vibrates at first after about 8 seconds of not breathing then alarms to let you know. A point to note, the nappy needs to be on firmly so this makes adequate contact with the skin!! it definately works too as the three or four times in the six months that it worked its way off due to her wriggling around it sounded off and woke us both up. It works hand in hand with other monitor systems ie walkie takiesRead moreLess
