"Does the job well…"
Very easy to set up and has a clear picture, good night vision and sound pick up. Being able to adjust the camera remotely and easily is great. The monitor can be carried about easily and has a little stand to keep it upright, it's all very user friendly.
I've managed to somehow get a little more done this morning by leaving her in the Moses basket asleep with the camera on her. Big thumbs up from me.Read moreLess

"Clear, good image quality, easy to use…"
Really like this baby monitor. I use it all over our 2 storey house & out in garden & have found it works well. Images are clear & I like it much better than just the sound baby monitor we had before. Interesting to use with our 2 year too, it's amazing what he gets up to in his room when he's supposed to be sleeping!!Read moreLess

"Good night vision quality, nice compact unit…"
I have been using this for over six months and I am really pleased with it,
We now have the camera out of reach above the cot. Before she could stand up we had it on the end of the cot. The adjustable camera angle allows you to move it around remotely to get a good view - even when the baby moves.
I like to keep the parent unit on next to the TV in the evenings - if you keep it plugged in the picture stays on, if you unplug it then it goes after 5 mins to conserve power. Sound works regardless (including a line of LED's across the top). Battery life isn't great - maybe 4 hours or so when its not plugged in.
I find you need to extend the aerial for it to work downstairs, but when it's folded out I have not had any issues (and we have an old house with thick walls). It also picked up fine out on the patio table in the summer (which is as far as you can get from the nursery and through a couple of walls/downstairs)
It's great to be able to see the baby so you can watch and see if she really needs us or is just grizzling in her sleep. Also great when leaving her to get to sleep as you can see if she is escalating into hysterics or settling down.
I am really pleased we splashed out on a video monitor, I haven't used any others to compare but I am really pleased with the picture quality both day and night, and the shape and style of the unit is nice.Read moreLess
"Bad Range, Disapointing…"
We had a Summer Baby Zoom Digital Monitor which we loved and it worked perfectly. After moving to a house with 7 floors we needed a system with multiple cameras. We only found out later that this IS possible with the above camera.
The Motorola monitor broke down and had no sound.Unable to repair it we bought a 2nd one so we had a new monitor and two cameras now.The new monitor just broke again, this time the power button can not be used anymore. This is the 2nd time in 6 months.
The signal is spotty over 7 floors and cannot be used in every room.
It's easy to use and there is a scan function that automatically switches between the cameras when a noise in a different room is detected, which was good.Read moreLess

After two previous unsuccessful monitors, I bought Motorola MBP36 on ebay from http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-Motorola-MBP36-DIGITAL-VIDEO-BABY-MONITOR-CAMERA-LCD-SCREEN-REMOTE-WIRELESS-/130758466361?pt=UK_Baby_BabyMonitors_SM&hash=item1e71cfdb39
This has everything you will ever need. The parent handset is lovely and slim so can fit in your pocket when you're walking around the house. The volume can go very loud which is great. You can also adjust the camera angle remotely which is really handy. I used to have an older model and the power light on the child unit was really bright. They have fixed this now so it is not bright at all. Much less distracting for little ones trying to get to sleep.Read moreLess
