"Nowhere near as good as the old version…"
13-Nov-2012
I had the original version with my first son, in 2009, and used it constantly - decent size, decent mat, did the job. I got the newer version when I had my second son (spring 2012), and don't even remember where I put it - much too small, ungainly mat. A real shame. I'm just hoping my old one holds out a bit longer.

"Was planning to use this as my everyday changing bag…"
07-Oct-2011
Was planning to use this as my everyday changing bag as a friend (who got hers in Feb 2011) uses hers all the time - but when I got mine (July 2011) its about half the size of my friends and far too small to be useful for anything but the shortest trip! Boots must be on a cost saving exercise :( Bought an Orla Kiely bag instead, which is much funkier and am v.pleased with it.

I love this bag! And still cannot believe it was free!! My husband is also thrilled because its neutral/black and he won't be embarrassed carrying it around, like some of my other friends who leave their husbands with their cath kidston changing bag! I also agree with another reviewer that the smaller size is ideal: you aren't tempted to overfill it with things you don't really need. It almost forces you to stay organised, which definitely works for me.

This is an excellent change bag especially as its free!! This is my second baby and I opted to use the Boots bag as it is more compact and has every thing you need in terms of space for a day out with the baby and toddler.

Fantastic that this bag was free. It does everything that a change bag should do and stands up to the wear and tear that is involved with lugging around all the equipment needed. It isn't worth spending much money on a change bag as very quickly you won't need to bring so much out and about with you and, especially if you have more than one child, you will find another type of bag more practical. As this bag isn't too big you aren't tempted to overfill it with "extras" and this will save your back in the longterm!

i find this perfectly adequate. has some internal pockets and a netted section as well as two pockets on the outside. the insulated pocket does take wide necked bottles. it matches the black and grey of my pushchair too! i can (just about) fit three wide necked bottles, powder and two cloth nappies with the other stuff so i really don't think it's too small. the only bad thing i can think of is that the lining from the insulated pocket is coming loose a little but that doesn't affect its functionality. best of all it's free!

As a free bag this is great - some of the netting pocket is not sewn in very well, but it is a bag that my husband van be seen with, and actually i use it as a bag kept ready for swimming. Just enough space for a change of clothes, muslin, swim nappies and nappy change stuff. the changing mat is quite good too.

This bag is quite good, although I find it a little on the small side. It has a small pocket for the bottle which is lined but I doubt it would stretch to take a wide-neck bottle. It has inner pockets for things but I find myself scrabbling around for things. But as a free product, it's not bad at all.

13-Feb-2008
Well to be clear on this - it's free when you buy a packet of huggies nappies and you are a member of the Boots Parenting club (oh and you need to be pregnant) but I was delighted by this stylish black and silver back, very discreet silver grey pocket linings, two big front pockets - big enough for a sippy or a bottle and the inside contains a fold out mat, and some freebies - depends apparently when you get it - mine had top to toe wash in. It's big enough to fit all your need in and has a long enough strap to throw it on the back of the buggy. Secure zip pocket inside for your reserves of chocolate to keep you going too. Quite frankly I wish I'd picked one up last pregnancy instead of the crappy one which came with my travel system and which has become a catbed.
