"I really like this bag because it is so practical…"

I really like this bag because it is so practical and seems to have thought of everything. It has several large compartments inside as well as a changing mat, and on the outside it has useful large pockets and a very handy side pocket to keep your bottles warm. The stroller strap is also a great idea. I found that the bag is bigger than it looks which means that you can fit plenty inside for every eventuality when you are out and about with the baby.

I experienced some of the problems below with the strollerstraps and called up Babymel, who were really helpful. I realised I was attaching them wrong - you have to undo the strap completely and wrap it round the handle bars. When I did it this way it was extremely strong and I;ve never had a problem with them since.
In terms of value for money, I certainly couldn't find a bag I liked the look of more for this price. I actually thought the quality was very good. I would and have recommended this brand to my mummy friends.Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

Great, well designed bag that was easy to velcro onto the pushchair so didn't drag on the floor like other bags. Great compartments with loads of room. Really like the foil zip pocket to keep milk warm - genius!

Having read the below im quite surprised- ive never had a problem with my Babymel bag- i think its an Amanda- its patterned though not like the one in the picture but the same shape. I found the velcro to be very strong- perhaps theyve started using a new kind?? anyway i would hihgly recommend this bag as theres tons of pockets and its a great size- the bottle pockets are really hadny too.

Have to agree with the comments about poor quality, which is a real shame because the size and design are very good. The zip to the main compartment came off in my hand on the third occasion I used it. Also the velcro tabs at the sides which are supposed to attach it to the pram handle are not strong enough to do so even when the bag has very little in it. Mine is going back to the shop for a refund.

"Rubbish. The design of this bag was great - enough…"

Rubbish. The design of this bag was great - enough pockets, enough room for two bottles, buggy straps etc...but the quality was dreadful. After just two months of using it, the stitching on the interior pockets came away from the bag itself, eventually most internal pockets were ripped and frayed. The final straw was when I attempted to zip the bag up and the stitching connecting the strap to the bag just went.
This was after four months of use.
I really don't consider that the bag had undergone unusual use/treatment, my previous bag was (still is - thank goodness I kept it!) a skip hop and I never experienced any of these problems.Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

I couldn't disagree more with the first review!
My experience with this bag was terrible. I found the strap dug very painfully into my shoulder and after only having it a few weeks loads of the stitching began to come loose.
Thankfully John Lewis were kind enough to let me swap it for a Baba Bing : Daytripper Paternity Satchel.
I've had that for 18months now and use it everyday. Its so much better!!Read moreLess"This bag is fantastic. It's got two zips on the…"

This bag is fantastic. It's got two zips on the sides which you put bottles or cups in, then inside is big enough for a spare change of clothes, nappies etc. I am using it for a toddler and was impressed as I was struggling to find a baby bag which doesn't look like it's for a baby! The strap is long enough to wear over the body and you can adjust it. Really great bag and worth the price tag.
