Vax Mach Air

I have a mixed opinion on this due to it being average sucking and hoovering. But then it is really hard to push along whilst hoovering, I find it very difficult and also it gets clogged up most of the time.

OK I think this vacuum cleaner has some great features:
light
easy to empty
really really sucks, even cat hairs
BUT
it is fiddly you have to detach/attach the long hose to hoover the stairs
there is no control of the power so you can't use a lower suction if you want to hoover your curtains, for example

Overall good quality for the price, and if you order from John Lewis you get three years warrenty.

Better known for carpet cleaning systems, this vacuum from Vax is brilliant. Lightweight, but sturdy with an easy to use nozzle for stair-cleaning etc. Its bagless design ensure that it had good suction and wasn't too much of a pain to empty (though you need both hands) .
Glides round furniture and under edges and you can switch off the brush easily. The accessories make it easy to clean stairs and get into corners.
Despite having all these great features, it's neat (not much bigger than my toddler's toy hoover) which makes it easy to store.
