Looks very nice, doesn't take up space as the cord can be tidied away in the base unit. To be honest, I've used only the knife tool and it makes baking a WHOLE LOT easier, as it mixes everything in about 10secs!It also does a decent job pureeing my baby's food.

"This Kenwood replaced what I suspect was a much older…"
20-May-2010
This Kenwood replaced what I suspect was a much older model in our kitchen. It's a very handy device. Here's my feedback to Kenwood:
There is a burning smell when in operation. My old Kenwood did this too!
The blades are very useful but it would be really handy if you could in some way mark on them what they are used for, as I find it a pain to try and remember or get out the manual every time!
The device to hold the cutting blades in place is very fiddly to put in place and a bit frustrating.
I really like the grinder tool, and the device does do everything it claims to do well. I wouldn't use the blender bit, as I have a hand blender (also by Kenwood) which is much handier for making smooth soup and smoothies.
Bread tool worked well, this wasn't in my old model so chuffed about that.
Thanks for giving me the chance to test it Mumsnet!Read moreLessMumsnetter hairtwiddler

"We finally took the plunge and bought a food processor…"
25-Mar-2010
We finally took the plunge and bought a food processor after making do for so long, and I'm loving it. After much research, we bought to Kenwood Multipro FP730, which includes a blender attachment, grinder and juicer, along with the main processor bowl.
There are quite a lot of attachments, which I haven't worked my way through yet, however I can see I will probably use half of them regularly.
The knife blade is the all purpose tool - breadcrumbs, chopping onions before putting rest of ingredients in for meatballs, etc.
The grater is also very useful for large amounts of cheese, carrots etc.
There is also a mini-processor bowl for sauces and baby food, which is great. Included is a grinder too, great for grinding spices and even coffee (if I had the time!)
I was daunted by the amount of attachments at first, but the unit does pack up neatly with about half the attachments, and is unobtrusive on the bench. The rest have to be stored elsewhere.
The cord can be wound up inside the base unit, so is quite tidy.
I am very happy with my machine and would recommend this as it is also good value for money, we paid aboutRead moreLess2 people found this review helpful.
