"Fantastic tasting coffee…"
Easy to use, easy to clean. The coffee tastes amazing - so sludge at the bottom of the cup, made from plastic - great for travelling. I doubt we'll ever use our french press again.Read moreLess
"best coffee maker…"
The aeropress is a modern age french press. The coffee is cleaner and it doesn't allow the coffee granules to go through. I love it, although DH makes an effort to forget to make one for me!Read moreLess
"Easy to use and great coffee!…"
I first tried the AeroPress at work and was so impressed by how easy it was to use and the creaminess of the coffee that I had to buy one to use at home. All my friends want one now and I'd definitely recommend it. The only problem is it doesn't make a lot of coffee in one go so not really suitable for a mums' coffee morning.Read moreLess

"excellent coffee for traveling…"
I've had one for a while and mainly use it when traveling, together with a trusty enamel coffee pot.

Thou have to follow the timings carefully, and it can be hard to get the pressure down sometimes, buy the result is excellent.

Having said that, the aeropress method uses about twice as much coffee per cup as a standard machine espresso (hence the full flavour without acidity), so would be very expensive to use every day.Read moreLess
"I used one of these on holiday in the absence…"
I used one of these on holiday in the absence of my favoured Gaggia Classico. This Aeropress only works if you have a burr grinder (or if you are really energetic and have a handgrinder, but I can't honestly imagine anyone with small kids has time to grind coffee by hand). If you buy regular ground coffee, it just floods through and is very weak. You also have to buy lots of little paper filter things. And it is really a pain to wash. The grounds go everywhere.Read moreLess
