"Love this, use it every day!…"
So easy to use. Great range of pods available - either buy from Amazon, supermarkets regularly have deals or use quidco to click through to the tassimo site, there's always a way to buy cheaper than the list price.
It's easy to clean too, but remember to have some descaling tablets in stock as the machine won't work once it's told you it needs descaling..Read moreLess
"Totally in love…"
This is so much better than instant coffee. All you have to do is put the pod in the machine and out comes tasty coffee. And the Oreo pods are great too for the non coffee drinkers. It also doubles as a kettle with either the cleaning or the special water disc. It's no bigger than my kettle and not much more expensive either. I don't know why I wait that long to replace my kettle with this.Read moreLess
"Small but you can do a lot with it…"
Makes great hot chocolate and, I'm told, good coffee (not a coffee fan). Once you are used to it all you need to do is pop a disc in, fill the reservoir and press the button. There are loads of drinks to choose from, the machine is compact and would be ideal for people who drink coffee at home but don't like instant or to have to make a big pot of it.Read moreLess

"Very easy to use!…"
Lovely little machine - looks great in the kitchen and doesn't take up too much space. It is really easy to use. Only downside is that the drinks it creates are small (I made tea with it for my builders and they found the amount of tea they got amusing!). Small drinks are fine for me as I often don't finish big mugs! Drinks don't come out really hot - which could be a downside, but is good for toddlers who want a quick hot chocolate!Read moreLess
"Great, neat coffee machine for the home…"
I was picked by MNHQ to review this product, which I received for free. This review is in my own words and reflects my true opinion.
We've never had a coffee machine before, just a cafetiere which wasn't used very regularly.
Since we got the Tassimo, we've ordered extra pods and DH is now able to have have his fill of espresso's before going out for a weekend bike ride.
The dc's are partial to a hot chocolate, we were given suchard ones as part of the trial and they both really like that.
I usually just drink black coffee, so Americano's are my thing and the Costa one is great.
My main reservation is the faff of tilting and slotting the water reservoir in place. I have also on occasion forgotten to remove the pod after making a drink, it hasn't been a problem so far.
Also, my idea of a large mug and Tassimo's idea are quite different! I have to add in extra water to most drinks which means hovering around the machine rather than just letting it get on with brewing.Read moreLess
"Compact and easy to use…"
I was fortunate enough to be picked as a tester for this machine and I love it.
It is slim and compact so doesn't look overbearing on my worktop (I have a very small kitchen)and simply designed, it looks really modern.
The drinks selection is good and most are delicious (I love the hot chocolate). The only issue I would have is that it mostly seems to fill half a cup, so you have to add extra water when then waters some of the drinks down. You don't get this with them all though.Read moreLess

"Compact and quick…"
I was lucky enough to be picked to product test this machine, but I would still love it if I had coughed up the cash for it. We have a baby and a toddler and don't have much room, but it tucks in nicely under the kitchen cupboards. We got some free drinks with it but everyone gets £20 to spend on pods when they register their machine, so I used that to splash out on some more. The Costa Latte is lovely - I don't think any different to the in store product. There are also a couple of lovely hot chocolates (Cadburys and Suchards) and a variety of novelty teas - I've become hooked on Chai Latte with lemongrass. It's very quick and easy to use, so very handy in a morning when I'm feeding me and two kids before work - if the waters already full its quicker than instant to be honest as you don't have to wait for the kettle. I've had it a week or two now and been using it 2-3times daily - no technical problems so far.
My only complaints, and they are minor, are that it doesn't make a very big cup (you can add more water, but I like the flavours as they come out) although the latte is better than most for this, and it is quite a lot more expensive per cup than both instant and freshly ground, so once I've used up the free stuff I will have to calm down a bit - it will be hard as I'm addicted!! If you regularly buy Costa out though, it will probably replace some of that so should be a saving there.

"A time-effective addition to family-life…"
Lucky enough to host a Tassimo Coffee morning, demonstrating the Vivy to local Mumsnetters.
Found it very quick at making drinks, clever, compact and time-saving in all sorts of ways! Our teen has already become very adept at using it and I can predict that the 'pod' supply will go down very quickly in our household, as the children get to grips with and enjoy using it!Read moreLess
"Compact, efficient and practical hot drinks machine.…"
I was lucky enough to be sent one of these to test. We have tasted many of the different t-discs and our favourites are the Costa Latte, the Cadbury hot chocolate and the Costa Cappuccino. The machine is very straightforward to use and makes the drinks quickly. It is small enough to keep on the worktop and is a welcome addition to the household!Read moreLess
Easy to use, takes up very little save on the worktop, great range of drinks.Read moreLess
"Compact and stylish…"
The machine looks good, little difficult to set up as there are just picture instructions. Bit disappointing as you don't get full cups, but what you do get it very nice indeed!Read moreLess
"Small but perfectly formed.....…"
Lucky enough to attend the Mumsnet Merton Tassimo Coffee Morning and enjoyed trying this out and some of the drinks! The Tassimo Vivy is very compact and would happily sit in our galley-style kitchen in lieu of a kettle.....It makes drinking hot drinks almost immediate and is particularly useful for busy family-life and catering for differing hot drink needs!
Well worth the money with minimal effort and maximum choice of hot drink options!Read moreLess
"Very happy with it, would gladly recommend it to others.…"
“I was picked by MNHQ to review this product/ service, which I received for free. This review is in my own words and reflects my true opinion.”
The machine was very easy to set up, it took no time at all. It is really compact in size which is great for a kitchen as small as mine!
I really like it, it is so easy to use you just pop the pod in and off you go. So far we've tried the pods that came with the trial, two coffees, a hot chocolate and a tea. The coffees in particular were really good. There is also a lot of choice on the Tassimo website to try new drinks so it will get a lot of use.
Very happy with it, would gladly recommend it to others.Read moreLess

"My Daily Treat…"
I was picked by MNHQ to review this product/ service, which I received for free. This review is in my own words and reflects my true opinion.
I love it, and would love it just as much if I had bought and paid for it myself.
I have had a Dolce Gusto for 4 years and it has just started to leak water for the casing, so I was on the look out for a new machine and wasn't sure whether to go for a Tassimo or just replace like for like.
I much prefer the coffee from this machine. The capsules are barcoded so the machine knows exactly how much water to put in, although there is an override if you prefer weaker drinks.
There are lots of flavours to choose from.
So far we have had:
Twinning Earl Grey - a really refreshing cuppa, which I prefered over our usual Yorkshire.
Kenco Crema and Carte Noire Cream - I prefered the Carte Noire as the Kenco was a bit bitter. I heat up a little milk in the mug first, then add the coffee and a small spoonful of brown sugar and this makes a lovely drink. This works out a lot cheaper than buying the latte or cappucino capsules because you get 16 drinks in a pack with the Creama instead of the 8 milky drinks.
* Caramel Machiato - too milky for my tastes although dh liked it. I added an extra shot of espresso then it was much nicer.
* Costa cappucino - really lovely strong flavour and not sweet.
* Costa caramel latte - smooth and sweet. Didn't need to add an extra shot to that.
* Cadbury's hot chocolate - ds says he didn't like this and it was too watery. He would rather have the tea.
Overall I really like it and am pleased to have found so many drinks to use with it.Read moreLess
