"Cheap and cheerful…"
We had a Russell Hobbs espresso machine for approximately two years. It was good while it lasted, producing a fast and efficient way of drinking coffee without the grind you would find at the end of a cafetiere. It had a 10 bar pump, meaning the pressure was not great enough to make more than one milk based drink. It was fine for the two of us, but it wasn't able to keep up when we had friends and family over. If you're not bothered about lattes, it's perfectly fine for espresso.
Costing £79 placed it in the lower price band of coffee machines - so we weren't expecting anything spectacular.Read moreLess
