"Very useful kitchen gadget that easily be used daily…"
We bought this breadmaker after having bought a much cheaper one to see if we would actually use one and that it wouldn't just sit on the side, or get bunged in a cupboard.
Some of my family had/have Panasonic breadmakers and told me how good they were. I was very happy with my cheap one UNTIL I had a chance to use my brother's Panasonic.
It was a revelation. The bread was so much nicer, it came away from the paddles so much more easily.
As soon as we returned home we searched online for the cheapest deal. Luckily, at the time we were looking, Curry/Comet were doing a special deal. The breadmaker cost us around £100, but I think the RRP was about £140.
We especially chose one with a timer as I very often put the ingredients in and wake up to fresh bread. I have not used many of the programs, but I am sure, having used many programs in the time I had my old breadmaker, that they will be fantastic.
I make at least one loaf per day. I used to make the L one, but it was too high for sandwich bags, so now I always make the M one. I have used the dispenser a few times. That works very well. I have also used the "jam" program a few times. I needed to change the amount of powdered pectin when I made strawberry jam.
I definitely think that the Panasonic breadmaker is worth the extra money it costs compared to some others. I particularly wanted the timer/delay start button and use it very often. It sits lengthways on my counter, which fits my kitchen much better than sideways. It is very easy to clean; the loaves come out very cleanly and only leave an extremely small amount under the paddle. I have had no problems at all with it, nor with the results. I highly recommend this breadmaker.Read moreLess
