Fantastic day out, thoroughly enjoyed the whole day. Especially the goats and huge pigs which my children adored.
Only one issue and that was hardly Folly Farm's fault, but my youngest saw the Zebu's mating and now won't stop asking questions. Little embarrassing, but otherwise great.Read moreLess

I have just recently visited Folly farm in Pembrokeshire. We had a fantastic day and there was very suprising amount of things to do considering the reasonable entry cost (you can use your tesco vouchers too).
It was a glorious day when we visited and we spent ages walking around the animals. They all seem extreemly well cared for. We sat and had a picnic outside and there is plenty of outside play areas such as a huge pirate ship etc for the children to explore.
If it is a rainy day there is an indoor fairground which is made to seem old fashioned/vintage. My dd's loved the rides. There is also a huge indoor exploring/climbing frame area by the food area.
There is a animal show which is on a couple of times a day and my children loved this.
Food wise - we didn't really sample as we brought a picnic but it seemed like regular fare - there is fast food type outlets as well as pub type lunches. It looked ok and appeared not too extortionate.
The park was clean with plenty of bins around. Lots of toilets.
We really had a enjoyable day here and will return on our next holiday in West wales.Read moreLess

Great place...with lots of outdoor play areas, sand pits, digger area and picnic areas. There are also zoo animals including giraffes, zebras and tapirs, plus traditional farm animals. There is also a big indoor play area and old fashioned fair with traditional rides and stalls -althought these cost extra. You can get tickets with Clubcard points which is an added bonus!Read moreLess

There is lots to do at this farm, I think it's the only farm I've visited where you really can spend the whole day.
I think it would be better if there was a ticket that included everything as we ended up spending quite a lot as there are lots of things to do which are not included.Read moreLess

All our family loved Folly Farm - reasonable entry price, and so much to do indoors and outdoors so good for wet weather days too!
Small zoo with most important animals, great outdoor climbing frames (pirate ships), small go-carts which the whole family can race against each other in, helter skelter, then loads of indoor old style funfair rides. These do cost extra, so be prepared, but not expensive and no queues so a fantastic day out!Read moreLess

A great place to take young children.
You can feed lambs bottles of milk in the big barn at set times through the day (my children think this is great!), there is an indoor fairground and play area if the weather is not so good, and large picnic areas and outdoor adventure play frames if the weather is nice.
There are also wild animals to see if you take a walk around the animal enclosures.
There is a small area with rabbits and guinea pigs which can be handled during certain sessions, under the supervision of a park worker.Read moreLess

We visited Folly Farm when we were on holiday in Wales a couple of years ago, there is lots to do and the children had a great time, the only thing that I wasn't keen on was the fact that you had to pay for some rides once in the farm, at the time our children were only 5 and 3 so were more interested in the animals, but with older children it could work out an expensive day.Read moreLess
"Took DD(6) and DS(3) during the February half term holiday,…"
Took DD(6) and DS(3) during the February half term holiday, the weather was unseasonably warm and sunny proving that it doesn't always rain in Wales. Folly Farm has been a family favourite with us since DD was old enough to visit and we were impressed with the level of investment this park makes year on year without it being passed on to the customer in the entrance fee. The farm zone has lots of rare breeds as well as the sort of sheep, pigs and goats your children would recognise. There are regular feeding and milking demonstrations and opportunities to join in. The zoo zone has unusual animals such as tapir, capybara and lemur. The animals appear to be well looked after and the enclosures are well maintained and appropriately sized. There is an indoor funfair with old fashioned rides such as a swing chair and moving staircases. They are priced at 50p each ride which is very reasonable. There has been a large indoor adventure play ground added with a coffee shop and seating area for tired parents. DS loved the go karts and real diggers. DD loved all the play areas both inside and out. There are lots of places for children to play here. We didn't buy any food as there are lots of places to picnic. Snacks were reasonably priced and the queue for ice cream was short. Entrance fee is reasonable atRead moreLess
