"Great place...with lots of outdoor play areas, sand pits, digger"
22-Jan-2011
Great place...with lots of outdoor play areas, sand pits, digger area and picnic areas. There are also zoo animals including giraffes, zebras and tapirs, plus traditional farm animals. There is also a big indoor play area and old fashioned fair with traditional rides and stalls -althought these cost extra. You can get tickets with Clubcard points which is an added bonus!

"There is lots to do at this farm, I think"
04-Dec-2010
There is lots to do at this farm, I think it's the only farm I've visited where you really can spend the whole day.
I think it would be better if there was a ticket that included everything as we ended up spending quite a lot as there are lots of things to do which are not included.Read moreLessMumsnetter kslatts

"We have been many times whilst holidaying in Wales. Good"
24-Mar-2009
We have been many times whilst holidaying in Wales. Good value for money, lots of free outdoor activities and loads of animals. Brilliant old fashioned funfair, which everyone loves. A firm favourite with our family.

This is one of the best farms I have visited, there is so much to do, if you take a picnic you can sit near the fantastic play area.

"We visited Folly Farm when we were on holiday in"
11-Mar-2008
We visited Folly Farm when we were on holiday in Wales a couple of years ago, there is lots to do and the children had a great time, the only thing that I wasn't keen on was the fact that you had to pay for some rides once in the farm, at the time our children were only 5 and 3 so were more interested in the animals, but with older children it could work out an expensive day.

"Took DD(6) and DS(3) during the February half term holiday,"
13-Feb-2008
Took DD(6) and DS(3) during the February half term holiday, the weather was unseasonably warm and sunny proving that it doesn't always rain in Wales. Folly Farm has been a family favourite with us since DD was old enough to visit and we were impressed with the level of investment this park makes year on year without it being passed on to the customer in the entrance fee. The farm zone has lots of rare breeds as well as the sort of sheep, pigs and goats your children would recognise. There are regular feeding and milking demonstrations and opportunities to join in. The zoo zone has unusual animals such as tapir, capybara and lemur. The animals appear to be well looked after and the enclosures are well maintained and appropriately sized. There is an indoor funfair with old fashioned rides such as a swing chair and moving staircases. They are priced at 50p each ride which is very reasonable. There has been a large indoor adventure play ground added with a coffee shop and seating area for tired parents. DS loved the go karts and real diggers. DD loved all the play areas both inside and out. There are lots of places for children to play here. We didn't buy any food as there are lots of places to picnic. Snacks were reasonably priced and the queue for ice cream was short. Entrance fee is reasonable at £6.95 for adults, £5.95 for children and concessions. Under 3's are free. We had a really great day at Folly Farm and look forward to returing soon.
