"Flambards tries to cater for lots of different types of"
16-Jul-2010
Flambards tries to cater for lots of different types of people. For children there are theme park style rides, although the majority of these are for older children. For older people there are the Edwardian Village and Britain in the Blitz. Both of these are exhibitions with models and sound effects.
The trouble with the attraction for me is the cost. If you are interested in everything then it is probably a reasonable price. However I'm quite sure that the majority of people either want to see the exhibitions or go on the rides, but not both. That being the case it is expensive.
The food is on a par with many attractions. There is not a huge variety and what there is isn't particularly healthy. That being said, that isn't what it markets itself on.
We visit Cornwall twice a year and we tend to go to Flambards every other year for the children.
I would recommend this attraction to people but would always advise them to check out the price before they go. I think once in a while it's not too bad but not on a regular basis.Read moreLessMumsnetter Hooitt
