"Lots to do for children, even those not much interested in animals!…"
We went here when it first opened and were a bit disappointed. But if you haven't been recently, give it another try. There are lots more animals (lions, tigers, meercats, red river hogs, marmosets). You can stroke the wallabys, and walk among the lemurs. The animals are kept in really good conditions and look content. There is some nice playground equipment, one set for older children and one for younger ones. THe walks are all well mapped out and interesting enough for even reluctant boys. There are also three really exciting indoor slides (included in the entrance fee). The restaurant is in a nice building but the food was VERY expensive and not fantastic quality, so I would take packed lunch. BUt that was my only gripe. Lots of loos and good, easy parking. We'll be going back.Read moreLess
