Willows Farm

Have visited Willows Farm only once when DD was about 15 months old, so possible my experience coloured by her being so young. I found entrance pricey and was disappointed that we didn't have opportunity to feed/pet more animals and the animal pens weren't designed with children in mind - I seemed to be lifting DD up so she could see all the time.

I couldn't really see the point of all the animal shows - seemed to be more for the adults than kids.

That said, she enjoyed the playground, sandpit and trampolines but that wasn't really what I was looking for from a farm - I thought that it would be more kinda rustic and animal focused like the farms I enjoyed as a child.

Had a great time here. Masses to do including indoors if it is raining. Lots of shows and a wide range of animals.

Been coming here since DD was 18 months (2006). It's a fun day out with various rides (including tractor), animal shows in the arena and productions in the show barn Have now opened a huge indoor play area and is open all year round. Has a lovely farm shop too!
