We absolutely LOVED it here. Making rainwater filters with very friendly staff, getting lost in the warren in the play park, oh, and seeing some birds too!
We couldn't beleive how open it was, didn't feel like London at all.
However, I wouldn't recommend going if you are breast feeding, as when it was raining the only place to go was the cafe. When i asked a member of staff they helpfully showed me the baby change toilet!Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

This hidden paradise is just around the corner in London. It's the best wildlife site in Europe.
It has outstanding green and blue poetic landscapes, beautiful birds and the cutest ducks ever! I think it would be perfect for anyone who wants to relax close to nature and is seeking to get away from the grey city stress. It made me and my family take a break from our busy lives, to observe nature and learn a little bit about some adorable feathered creatures, enjoy unique attractions (such as the reptile collection) and just have fun. Perfect for a family picnic!! Watch the ducks, take pictures, interact, zone out, daydream, fantasize and just embrace your surroundings! Will definitely visit again, especially on a sunny day!
The place is closer than you imagine. It's literally less than 10 minutes from Hammersmith Tube Station.Read moreLessMumsnetter moonflower325

We had a brilliant day here, too. Astonishingly, it's a place where really quite serious twitchers who want to hover for hours in hides with their mahoosive binoculars mix quite happily with small children pottering about trying to spot moorhens and coots and baby ducks.
Lots of great nature trails for children to follow, lovely friendly staff - and one of the most fantastic playgrounds I've ever had the pleasure to sit down and watch my progeny lark about in.Read moreLessMumsnetter HelenMumsnet

A wonderful day out - much more than we expected. As well as all the wild birds, there are lots of wildfoul from around the world in fabulous habitats, plus pond dipping, and a fabulous outdoor playground - complete with rainclouds that rain (bring bathers or a spare set of clothes.
Kept dd and ds entertained from 10-4.30, and had to drag them away.
Oh, and wasn't busy, even on a very hot school holiday day...Read moreLessMumsnetter deepdarkwood
