Welsh Mountain Zoo

We went With 4 children aged between 4 _8 and everyone one of them loved it, It was more intimate than most larger zoos and because it was smaller they didnt get tired walking around all day. they had a great range of animals even baby snow leopards!, they had lots of displays and educatioal talks.It was excellent value for money,£28 for family of 4.The food was reasonably priced and was excellent quality,and lots of good picnic areas.They had lots of play areas too.We spent the whole day and thorougly enjoyed it will definately re visit in the uture.

The zoo is set in woodland and has amazing views.It is very easy to find with all the signs for it.It has a large car park which is easily accessible throughout the day so you do not have to carry lots of stuff round.The monkeys are adorable and very entertaining,and lots of other beautiful animals.There are two cafes and a picnic area.Plenty of toilets are for disabled too.They have a sea lion show which is a must as they are so cute and clever.The animals can be seen by all size people from very little upwards.Ther are two very fun play aeas one for the little ones with swings and slides,and one for the older kids with huge slides,i can't get my kids out of there it was so much fun and mum and dad can't resist it either.Staff are very friendly.The only disadvantage is the prices in the gift shop are astronomical.There are beautiful gardens containing endangerd plants.well worth a visit.
