"We went a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed"
10-Apr-2012
We went a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it. You need to go early to get your money's worth and fit in all the shows you want to see - it is pricey and lots of people seemed to be entering with annual passes.
We enjoyed the sheep show, the duck racing and the sheep shearing. The dc also did an easter egg hunt, a swan boat thing and we saw lambs being born which was amazing - time it right and this is a great outing.
The restaurants are good but pricey.
The indoor play area is very good with amazing slides.Read moreLessMumsnetter YouBrokeMySmoulder

"We recently visited The Big Sheep with our two DC"
17-Aug-2010
We recently visited The Big Sheep with our two DC (4 an 18 months) who both had a fab day despite the odd rain shower. I wasn't expecting such a good range of activities - the duck round-up was very funny and interactive for the older kids, the tractor rides on the pull along pigs went down a storm and DD even plucked up the courage for a chairoplane ride which she LOVED! The only down was the price and wait for the pony rides (although again, DD is STILL talking about Mischief). We took a picnic so can't rate the food really, although there were plenty of picnic tables to use. I would highly recommend, particularly on a non-beach day.

"A theme park around sheep might seem a bit lame,"
01-Jul-2010
A theme park around sheep might seem a bit lame, but DS (3) thought it was the best thing ever. Small enough to be walked round easily, theres a programme of events showing shearing, lamb feeding, tractor rides, land train, and the Sheep Show, plus lots of other things.
DS loved the sheep racing at the end of the dayRead moreLessMumsnetter CMOTdibbler

"Good range of organised displays and independent entertainment. These included:"
07-Jun-2010
Good range of organised displays and independent entertainment. These included: sheep show, duck training, bottle feeding the lambs, tractor ride, train ride, bouncy pillow, trampolines, go-karts, horse-rides, pet-the-animals, extensive soft-play, sheep racing plus restaurant & cafe. We took our two-and-a-half year old and he was entertained for the whole day.
