"AWFUL! I found out this place was reported to the"
06-Oct-2011
AWFUL! I found out this place was reported to the RSPCA for the conditions thier guineapigs are kept in however nothing is done about it because of the lack of officers in the area - the ones with purple spray marks on them are ones that have broken legs from being dropped by children who are allowed to handle these animals unsupervised. Teenage girls dish them out like sweets during "hands on time" - no information is given about them which would make it at least informative.. they walk away allowing even young toddlers to play with them and push them off the low wall. (hence broken limbs) They are bred back to back, females are all pregnant and sold to the public as pets for as little as £5 - however there were a few with obvious fungal and mite skin infections as well as females likely to be pregnant ( they can get pregnant at 5 weeks) NOT a good example of how these special little creatures should be kept. Ask the owner what happens to them at the end of the season as well -because the RSPCA and local rescue centers all know. Disgusting - I would not give this "attraction" my money ever again.

Excellent value for money. We stayed there all day and even though the car park was full we never felt that it was croe=wded. Plenty for all to do - great picnic space, play equipment, super sand-pit and smashing animals - hands on too. Definitely making this a regular visit.
