Love this place. They've now spent loads of money and improved it. There's a tea room which serves lovely (if expensive) cake and teas. They have a play area for the children with large wooden castle and ride on tractors. If you're lucky you'll get a glimpse of the racoon but if not, there's still the goats, pigs and ostrich to see. Friendly staff - last time I was there myself and my daughters were led to a barn to see the newborn piglets. The butchers shop is renowned in the area and stocks good quality meat - crocodile steak anyone!

"A free afternoon out! There is a farm shop and"

A free afternoon out! There is a farm shop and butcher selling various exotic meats and an excellent tea shop with lots of lovely, lovely cake. They've thoughtfully provided a basket of books and toys for younger children to keep them occupied while you relax (and eat cake).
On the farm there are a few unusual animals to see as well as the usual farm animals, and a playground with pedal tractors. The crocodiles are in a large building with full length windows so very easy to see but DD was most taken with the racoon. It's not a huge place but as it's free I can't really fault it.
Highly recommended by DD and I (did I mention the cake?).Read moreLessMumsnetter EauRouge
