"Horton Park Childrens Farm is a fantastic place to go"
12-Aug-2009
Horton Park Childrens Farm is a fantastic place to go for a day out. It is reasonably priced £5.95 per child (2 and over). Each paying child can bring in one adult for £2.50. If the weather is rainy there is an amazing indoor play barn and a separate area for babies. There are also other little areas under cover if the weather is bed such as a sandpit, play area and of course lots of the animals are under cover! You are allowed to pet some of the animals and there is educational information about the animals throughout the farm.
They have put a huge amount of effort into the outdoor play area. Features include wooded play houses, ship and a castle. There is also a bouncy pillow and zip wires. The list is endless!!!
The only downside is it can get very busy on a sunny day. We tend to go on a day when the weather is light showers. Also the food is not great so worth taking a picnic.Read moreLessMumsnetter smileskk
