Edinburgh Zoo

Love going to the zoo once a year as a treat- and treat it is as it is very expensive :( Penguin parade great fun and now pandas. Bring your own picnic and definitely get the lift to the top!

Had a great day out here, kids and grown ups loved it! Plan to spend the full day there as expensive to get in (£47 for family of 4 plus £4 to park). If you can time it right, get the safari bus up to the top of the zoo and work your way down, as it is built on a hill and hard work with a buggy. Food was quite expensive and there is a soft play in one of the cafes (another £2 per child for 30 mins). Best bits were penguin parade, sea lion and the one eyed tiger!
